what is the rule for interest party to take this public company private? 80% or 90% majority vote or what? And what happen to the small shareholders that do not agree with the offer price and does not want to sell to the party?

@upsidedown119 it seems this is the trend with all the china man 'properties' companies on KLSE. Look at OSK, TA etc. Low PE but no interest from the institutioal investors. The major shareholder (owner) is also the executive of the company who would benefit themselve the most first. And they could take it private by offering you a pittance. Like what had happened to PJD, and to TA now. And I am not surprised that this KSL owner will do the same. Would you like to hold on to the shares when it is not tradable? Certainly the institutional investors don't think so.

This stock is cheap and seemingly attractive is because OLH could take it private anytime by offering you 70c per share like what he has done for PJD and OSK property. Would you still hang on to it if he take it private where your holding is not tradable? The institutional investors knew that and they stay away.

How much of this counter share is in public float? I guessed very little. Price looks great compared to NAV but the whole thing is controlled by major shareholder. No institutional investors would be interested in this counter. Only retail player. But how much can they buy, and when the price up it would benefit only the major shareholders. Don't hold your breath for it to correct price; may be 10 years or until taken private with ridiculous offer from major shareholder.

how much does olh and his related party owns this counter? Does he has enough money to take this counter private considering that he has taken PJD private and now going for Willow!
Last quarter for this counter was a massive EPS of 16.38c !!! More divident????

You don't pay rm10.99+rm1 for the share. You subscribe to the ICULS at rm1 and you can convert 10.99 of your ICULS to the mother share when you like from issued date to 3 years time.

Thanks for the link Tai KT. Looks like we should be talking about conversation ratio here... Since the ICULS is RM1 therefore the conversation ratio (yet to be announced) should be attractive enough for shareholders to take up.

isn't this ICULS similar to warrant that can be used to purchase the underlying common share, and that the conversion price is the price to pay for the conversion?

I have a feeling that company who offers Right issues are not doing so well or hard to get cheap finances elsewhere; that is the only reason they offer right issues to raise fund from existing shareholders.

since the right is renounceable/trade-able, does that mean the current shareholder will be allotted the rights (no payment yet) for a certain period of time and these could be traded on the market until the closing date before the holder have to make the 50c payment?

What can you do with the rights? I understand that you can convert a warrant to a share at a price of 80cent. But there is no information about what and when you can do with the rights. Enlighten me please.
Otherwise it seems to me I am paying 50c x2 for two rights to get 1 free warrant and then pay 80c to convert to a share. That is a total of 1.80 for a share...
