hahaha, and i am at fault for buying at RM0.675 and at today's price at RM1.21 anybody who followed and bought at that price have made a decent profit?? AND please, PLEASE Koon Bee, I did not made any BUY CALL at RM1.50. You must be pretty stupid. haha, I have never advise anybody to buy or sell anything. Unlike koonbee aka Paper Yong etc etc, I have never made a sell call or buy call. I am merely telling the gist of the announcements made for the land as being a right to purchase rather than a outright purchase. you go read it yourself you idiots.

i wonder why Koon Bee has to continue claiming I am Jack Khoo. I have no problem with that, I am sure Jack Khoo is a wonderful person, as he shares my surname, however, I am afraid it might affect the real Jack Khoo, as he is apparently a banker. if a landowner comes to me and said i can pay RM14k now to him and he will give me a RIGHT TO PURCHASE his land at RM1300 psf for a total of RM2.8 million in 10 years, and the RM14k can be used as part of the earnest deposit, i will be happy to sign on the dotted lines. Unfortunately there are people who are too blind to see, or in this matter.. to read, even though it has been announced for all to see. Now RM14k is RM14 mil and RM2.8 mil is RM2.8 bill for Ewein's case. Blind as it they are, it is OK. This is a forum for sharing, and nobody will force anybody to buy anything, including comcorp.

It is amazing that we think we can compute the feasibility of the land that simply, and undermining people who does this for a living. Surely Ewein has done feasibility and viability as well as studies over studies to even think of committing on development ventures. Even on simple reasoning, I have no doubt, there the project is viable. Only thing is i cant predict, as well as others surely, what the property market demand will become. But then again, with LGE putting up so many strategic infra projects, which as a Penangite myself believe is necessary to level up ourselves to closer to singapore, i have no doubt this won't be a "simplistically" not feasible project. On the other hand, with its location, being so near to the 3rd link (tunnel), it will be a success. If anyone can tell me which listed company owns the other side of the tunnel, i will be glad to put my money in it.

If you read the announcement, it is a right to acquire the lands, a right which extends for 10 years. It is not the actual acquisition of land. That shows insatiable long term intent, but without having to commit on the purchase in the mean time. I reckon this is planned to allow for cashflow fro projects to finance the payments of the lands for this 10 years. How sweet is this deal?? Sweetest i reckon. With this rights to acquire strategic and prime land, the company has a right to an amazing land bank which is located, in my opinion, the best prime location in Penang.

This indeed shows the company is moving towards of being a giant. Dream big, and you will be big. With the land being given as compensation, the plot ratio i believe would be high enough for the company to make good money.

i feel the agreement is a sweet deal for the company. it gives the company the rights to acquire the 50 acres of prime land for a duration of 10 years. With this being locked in, the certainty is there and therefore financing would be easier.

@koonbee, the company applied for APDL since 2013? if you are not sure about the information, you should refrain from using the words "in fact". The company applied for the APDL in middle of 2015, and they got the approval a few months later. That is a fact.
