Strategy All except local institutions were net buyers

 Local institutional investors were the largest net sellers in the week ending 5 Feb 2021 and raised their net selling by 249% wow to RM528m.
 Foreign investors turned net buyers and all three glove makers in the KLCI were in their top buy list.
 Retail investors continued to be the largest net buyers, though buying momentum fell 64% wow last week.
 Local nominees were net buyers for the fifth week, favouring financial services and utilities.
 Top Glove topped the net buy list for foreign investors but was on the top sell list for retail and nominee investors.

Key observations of trends from the week ending 5 Feb 2021 1. Local institutional investors in the ninth week of their selling streak They raised their net sells for equities by 249% wow to RM528m bringing YTD net sells to RM1.9bn. They were selling both the financial services and healthcare sectors. The three key net sells were Hartalega, Tenaga and Public Bank. 2. Foreign investors turned net buyer last week and were buying large glove makers The top three stocks that attracted foreign buying were Top Glove, Hartalega and Supermax, while stocks with highest foreign outflows were Public Bank, Telekom and MISC. YTD foreign net sells fell to RM717m. 3. Retail investors remain largest net buyers but net buying momentum fell 64% wow YTD net buy position by retail investors rose to RM1.98bn. Retail investors continued to favour financial services, and sell the healthcare sector. Retail investors’ top three net buys during the week were Public Bank, Tenaga and Iris. 4. Local nominees group were net buyers for fifth consecutive week Their net buying momentum fell 33% wow to RM112m while YTD net buying rose to RM734m. Nominees investors’ top three net buys during the week were Public Bank, Tenaga and FGV. 5. Public Bank, Telekom Malaysia and Top Glove dominated the top buy/sell lists Foreign institutional investors were top sellers of Public Bank, while the retail and nominee groups were its top buyers last week. Top Glove topped the net buy list of foreign institutional investors but was on the top sell list for local retail and nominee investors. Telekom Malaysia was on the top buy list for local institutional investors but was among the top sells for foreign investors.

This is a huge community with all types of people from all walks of life with common objective, to slowly move Topglove share price to the level it deserves.

We are grateful to have a few tech savvy and knowledgeable people here who share their experience and provide updates every now and then.

In this community, there are a few naysayers, some who sow hatred and spew profanities. Thanks to the admin/facilitator who work tirelessly behind the scene weeding out the unruly messages and profanities hence maintaining decency here.

Hopefully one of these days, these naysayers will see the big picture, turn around and realign with us and march forward.

There are instigators here who pick "fight" with members. Responding to them will raise our blood pressure, cloud our mind, drain our energy, waste our time and worse still, take away valuable space here.

Ignore them.

In my opinion, at this valuation, it is an opportunity to collect Topglove shares.. In a month's time, we shall be rewarded with money in terms of dividend of 3+%. How many type of investments especially during this pandemic time can give you such ROI in a month, definitely not from FD. In the course of collection, hopefully our group strategy has some impact on the share price, however if it were to trend downwards, we shall have better rate on the dividend. If it trends upwards, we shall have capital gain. It is a win win situation. Whatever we do, the share price will fluctuate but the resultant direction is north so buy and hold the shares, in time to come, you will be rewarded handsomely.


Topglove is a defensive stock that can hedge against economy upheaval. Topglove has good track record. I am a small retail investor personally invested in glove shares especially Topglove for a few years now. I don't have much but they are the most outstanding performers in my portfolio. Do your own due diligent, trust yourself, don't be swayed by all the "noises". Invest prudently within your own capacity, ultimately, you are responsible for your own decision/action.

Satisfaction is when looking back, we had made an impact and attained a greater height.

Before this year, when RSS is not allowed and the price dropped from 9 to 6, what excuse do you have ??
