On 22 June 2015, the Company had announced that HK Power Sdn Bhd, a whollyowned
subsidiary of the Company, had entered into a contract with Advance Boilers
Sdn Bhd for the design, supply, delivery to site, installation and commissioning of one
(1) unit of 1,077 electrical kilowatts (eKW) biomass co-generation power plant
(“Power Plant”) for a cash consideration of RM8,810,000 (“Proposed Acquisition of
Power Plant”).
Relevant details on the Proposed Acquisition of Power Plant has been announced to
Bursa Securities on the same date.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances and subject to obtaining of the requisite
approvals from the relevant authorities, the Proposed Acquisition of the Power Plant
and its construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2016.
