The Board of Directors of FITTERS Diversified Berhad (“FITTERS” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Future NRG Sdn. Bhd. (“Future NRG”) (Company No. 814147-M) , a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 14 May 2014 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with POIC Trading Sdn. Bhd. (“POIC”) (Company No. 889793-K) (“MOU”) for the purpose of developing opportunities relating to the treatment and conversion of palm oil wastes, especially Empty Fruit Bunches (“EFBs”) and Palm Oil Mill Effluents into resources and energy and with the establishment of an integrated palm biomass centre.
The MOU sets out and stipulates the manner in which the co-operation, dealings and negotiations between Future NRG and POIC to proceed and to serve as a basis of exploring potential business opportunities in the treatment and conversion of palm oil wastes.

14 cents is just the par value if not mistaken, the issue price will be decided later.

Most of other construction counters made a decent earning this quarter and MAHSING should also be the same, besides, 7.5cent dividend coming, so I don't see any reason to dump MAHSING at current level.

I think its because of delisting of BJCORP from the MSCI Index (something like this), today is the execution date,so funds might need to sell due to their strategy restriction (cant own shares outside of some index) after today should be steady d..hopefully

Genting seeking to cut stake in Australia's Echo, say sources

SYDNEY (Sept 19): Southeast Asian gambling group Genting is looking to cut its near 10% stake in Australia's Echo Entertainment, offering 39.6 million shares through broker Citigroup, sources said on Wednesday.

Malaysian-based Genting Group through its subsidiaries in Singapore and Hong Kong built its stake in Echo, the owner of the only casino in Sydney, earlier this year and had sought regulatory approval to increase its holding.

Genting was looking to sell the shares, equal to about 4.8 percent of Echo, at A$3.99 (RM12.77) per share, a 2.7% discount to the closing price of A$4.10, three sources with knowledge of the sale said. The stake is worth around A$158 million.

A Citigroup spokeswoman declined to comment while Echo was not immediately available to comment. — Reuters
