How will revaluation exercise affect the share price of HUNZPTY ?

The Board of Directors of HUNZPTY wishes to announce that the Company had undertaken the annual revaluation exercise on all the Group’s Investment Properties.

The fair value gain of RM146.1 million has resulted an increase of RM0.80 of net assets per share for the outstanding shares as at 30 June 2013 (not including treasury shares). However, note that the number of paid-up shares was increased by 18,100,000 after the private placement exercise in July 2013.

Property development is expected to be a significant contribution to the group’s profit from next year onwards (2014 onwards).

However Salcon has not lost its water engineering business. It has submitted bids for rm1.8 billion worth of water based contracts till June 2013. It has tendered for the Langat 2 contract in Selangor is also eyeing water jobs in Sabah and Johor.

It has an outstanding order book of rm350 million.

On the Langat 2 water treatment plant (rm1.2 billion) in Selangor, PPAB has narrowed down the bidders to two finalists, Gamuda Bhd and a JV consisting of MMC Corp Bhd, Salcon Bhd and AZRB. Management has a 30% stake in the JV. This would bring its estimated portion in the job to rm360 million should the JV win the contract.

tedbeh, why do you say the CFO has traded 500,000 shares. Bursa news only reported that he has intention to deal.

It might fly higher if the party taking up the private placement can add value to the company's performance.

16% for FY2013 giving a yield of more than 10%.
