Unfortunately not true. Even if it is maintaining its price, a coma stock is still a problem. For one, there is the 'opportunity cost' in that the tied-up capital could have been used to earn some decent returns if invested in some other counter. Also macro-economic events will overcome any individual company's prospects.

The plunging Ringgit and unceasing inflation means that the Ringgit value of your holding keeps dropping rapidly in terms of what it can buy! Just wait and see what your Ringgit can buy today versus what it can buy come 2015 and beyond....

I held GSB for a significant period of time but fortunately sold out to re-invest in IFCA and this move helped make 2014 a good year for me. Now I am also out of IFCA and indeed out of the Bursa as the local market looks set for a even greater fall.

This along with the falling Ringgit and poor Malaysian economic outlook in the short/medium term coupled with the unfolding/unravelling of some shocking economic mismanagement like the 'so-called' 2nd Sovereign Fund..I call it the Sovereign Debt instead....does not augur well for either the Ringgit, the economy or indeed the Bursa.

It is time to look to investing in another market and have holdings in another currency rather than the Ringgit! This is a personal opinion only and not a recommendation.

IFCA was my most profitable and best play for this year but like many other 'more cautious' investors I have sold out and cleared my Bursa holdings. Now I am looking at some other markets that may offer some respite from the plunging Ringgit in tandem with the unprecedented plunge in the world oil markets, to a likely US$50 per barrel soon..including Malaysia's so-called sweet Tapis!!

Finally gave up after queueing for a whole week at 0.12. Surrendered the remaining 512 small lots at 0.115 to the buyer just a while ago. No more patience with GSB and no more confidence in the Malaysian property sector for the immediate future.....:-(

I am sure that Calvin is well-intentioned but he does remind me of an old lady...my dear, long departed grandmother. Her all consuming pleasure when she was alive seemed to be...nag, nag and more nagging. Unfortunately, well-intentioned as he may be, he comes across as a 'nagging old lady'...spewing unsolicited and unwelcome advice over and over and over again.

Still no takers for my remaining GSB stock...only 512 small lots..looks like the sleeping beauty is in a deep coma indeed

Finally giving up and selling the remnants of my long-held GSB. I was every bit as stubborn as JM in the belief that GSB will take off but its timing for launching new development projects is really poor.
Fortunately I had a great run on IFCAM which helped salvage my returns on investments for this year. Good luck to all of you who are still holding onto GSB...please take my remaining 512 small lots of GSB at only 12 sens! :-)

Have wasted too much time on GSB, the sleeping beauty already. It will go up one day but not imminently with the challenging property market environment.

I am leaving a small investment here for old times sake but fortunately switched over to IFCA, both mother and son. Enjoying a phenomenal run there over the last few weeks, despite Calvin's 'Doomsday' call on that counter! To each his own....:-)

Decided to take some profit off the tabe. Sold some warrants at 0.405. Made enough to have a nice Merdeka celebrations. Must not be too greedy but hope to mae more on my remaining holding. Great counter on a 'down' day!! :-)

Calvin, I am impressed. You certainly seem to know how the sales of the G Residence are progressing. Glad that you are keeping tab. Good price performance by GSB today in a 'mixed' market. Looking good. Hope for a positive continuition next week to at least 0.15 as a 1st target! Your continuing promotion appears to have successfully stimulated some interest in GSB. :-)

Calvin, so modest! Only 50,000 shares and even has to borrow money to buy it. Must have spent yr money on buying a prime g-residence unit. Should buy enough GSB shares to untung enough to get a free unit. And as for your theory of the stale bulls cutting losses, suffice to say that some stale bulls have been rejuvenated and are adding to their holdings instead.

U are begining to sound like the No.1 promoter of GSB in the Investlah Forum, Johnmaster. He has been promoting GSB for more than 2 years. At long last, perhaps with this Iskandar launch, GSB will finally take off and the long-suffering early birds will finally be rewarded! There are also other projects in the pipeline and GSB may even finally go full fledge into property development and abandon its declining CD duplication business once and for all.

Coming strongly although volume still low.....

The dip was a great buying opportunity. Added to my portfolio.

A block of 16.5m shares representing 4.02% of Masterskill Education Group Bhd's (MEGB) enlarged capital was crossed at 42.5 sen yesterday, following the recent entry of Hong Kong-based businessman Gary How Soong Khong. The price was a 22.6% discount to the closing price of 52 sen yesterday and a stark contrast to the call option of RM1.10 per share offered by How. Last week, MEGB's major shareholder Siva Kumar M. Jeyapalan agreed to a call and put option offered by How. How had a call option to purchase a 29.76% stake in the education group from Siva Kumar for RM1.10 per share and it is valid for six months from Mar 19. (Starbiz)
