Katanya kelulusan yang diberikan berkuat kuasa 1 Jun PBM kini dibenarkan untuk menjalankan kedua-dua ujian berkenaan, sekali gus berupaya menyokong aktiviti saringan yang dijalankan oleh fasiliti kesihatan KKM.

MELAKA: Kerajaan negeri melalui Perbadanan Bioteknologi Melaka (PBM) melakar sejarah apabila Makmal Diagnostik COVID-19 miliknya diberi kelulusan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) bagi menjalankan ujian makmal RT-PCR dan RTK-Ag untuk mengesan jangkitan COVID-19.
Pejabat Ketua Menteri Melaka dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini memaklumkan sistem Makmal Diagnostik PBM itu juga turut disokong oleh sistem Tracvirus.
"Dengan kelulusan yang diberikan berkuat kuasa mulai semalam, PBM kini dibenarkan untuk menjalankan kedua-dua ujian berkenaan, sekali gus berupaya menyokong aktiviti saringan yang dijalankan oleh fasiliti kesihatan KKM, seterusnya membantu mempercepatkan usaha mengawal jangkitan wabak tersebut dalam komuniti," menurut kenyataan itu.
Jelasnya, makmal itu mampu menerima sebanyak 250 sampel RT-PCR dan ujian RTK-Ag setiap hari.
"Keputusan ujian RT-PCR boleh diperoleh dalam tempoh 24 jam manakala bagi ujian RTK-Ag, keputusan ujian boleh diperoleh dalam tempoh kurang satu jam.
"Dengan itu, ia memberikan pilihan tambahan kepada hospital swasta dan klinik-klinik di Melaka yang menawarkan ujian calitan COVID-19 untuk mendapatkan ujian RT PCR dengan makmal ini," katanya.
Kenyataan itu memberitahu selain daripada ujian makmal, PBM juga boleh menawarkan perkhidmatan kaunter ujian saringan bergerak atau 'on-site' untuk COVID-19 dengan kerjasama klinik dan hospital panel.
Justeru, individu atau syarikat yang ingin membuat ujian saringan COVID-19 boleh berurusan dengan makmal ini melalui tempahan awal menerusi talian 010-530 2600.
Menurut kenyataan itu, dengan kemudahan fasiliti makmal terbaharu PBM itu, kerajaan Melaka berharap ia bukan sahaja dapat membantu mengurangkan beban sampel di Hospital Melaka, malah boleh membantu mengurangkan beban sampel di fasiliti kesihatan KKM khususnya di zon selatan melibatkan Johor dan Negeri Sembilan.
"Sehingga kini, terdapat 35 fasiliti swasta yang telah diiktiraf untuk menjalankan ujian tersebut di seluruh negara termasuk kini sebuah makmal swasta di Melaka," jelasnya. – BERNAMA

SEPANG, Feb 21 — The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) will use the TracVirus application (app) to obtain data and monitor all individuals entering the country, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions), Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof.
He said the use of the application developed by local company, Tri-G Technologies Sdn Bhd would also speed up the entry process of those who had previously filled in the form manually including health information such as Covid-19 screening results.
He said the application would go through a two-week trial period starting tomorrow at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to check its effectiveness before being expanded to other points of entry, thus encouraging travel bubbles.
