Yee, you may try using that strategy. But no guarantee the outcome is what you desired one.

The very common practice is sell 50% holding when price up to the targeted level, hold for another 50% for potential up.

When price goes down after disposal of 50%, progressively buy back, but never so soon unless drop more than 5% or so.

10 cents up or down is not a concern for long term investors. However, short term traders must have own strategies & targets.

Sometimes it is fun to see jokers or clowns running around here & there & shouting "Sky is falling down".

Technical analysis is studying historical transactions behaviour, it is a guessing game, based on what happened given this given that & predict what will happen if this if that.

A lot of assumptions involved and is a game of guessing how other retailers behave & try to win on each other.

Unlike some companies, the directors are getting paid even the company is making losses OR few directors are getting more than half of the profits of the company. They take first then & balance shared by thousands of the shareholders.

Something very interesting here, the management may not intentionally be trying to play game of under promise over deliver.

At the page 15 of the Annual Report (Chairman's Statement), the construction order book standing at some RM805M as at the end of FY2015. (Means order book as at 31/5/2015)

In the page 14 of the latest Quarterly Report (31/8/2015) announced on 29/10/2015, the following is stated:

"The Board expects the performance for the current financial year to further improve in tandem with the strong outstanding order book of some RM805.0 million for the Construction Division as the core revenue generator for the Group."

Where is the latest RM375M Pengerang, Johor project announced on 23 Oct 2015?


So, I believe the total construction order book up to 31/8/2015 is as follows:

Order book @ 31/5/2015 => RM805M
Work Performed during the quarter period - (RM105M)
(refer to page 12 of QR)

Order book @ 31/8/2015 => RM700M
Work Performed for Sept & Oct - (RM70M)
Project awarded in Oct - RM375M

Order book @ 31/10/2015 => RM1,005M (or RM1Billion)


The construction order book is enough to last for 2 years, at least.

Don't forget the Company had won the MRT2 project previously & the management is well positioned or connected to possibly get more MRT2 project in 2016/2017 as announced in the earlier Budget.

If remove the paper profits for 2013 & 2014, the actual profits are in fact down trending.

The share price was moving in tandem with its actual performance. It could be too optimistic in the earlier stage. The miss match of expectation create disappointment.

Investors of this company must be very patient like in real business world, investment goes first, production later. Spent money first, then generate income later.

With so many people selling and the prices are still slowly moving up, you have to seriously think about this.

The QR will be released either today or tomorrow, if it is not encouraging enough as what is expected, there will be only one way.

I have no idea why the company do not want to get loan or issue bond using the concessionaire contract like what Renong & Litrak did for PLUS & LDP highway.

zbaikitree2, thank you so much for your advice. What you said may happen, since the project was started "talking" in 2011.

As I said, it will not turn around in 2015 & 2016, so no hurry to get on board.

Let's see if they can deliver what they have projected in 2017.

zbaikitree2, I feel this is good stock but the price was dropped from more than RM3 to now RM1.74, it is better for me to understand more why before investing into this company.

At least I can set my reasonably expectation on this company, rather than predicted wrongly & lose money, I will cry kow kow if wallet bocor big big.

The company need to continue pay good dividend to maintain good corporate relationship with stakeholders (especially existing & future investors), even though the company is desperately needing so much cash to fund the TLM project.

The cash depleted trend will continue in FY2015 & FY2016.

The company should be able to turn around in 2017, as its CEO has estimated RM100M cash revenue from the concessionaire.

My conclusion:

This stock is long term play.
