KLCI is fuelled with many speculative trading, hence contra traders are fleeing the market in a haste. For mid- long term investors, picking strong fundamental companies to invest in are off for a good start. Agree?

It's the company with strong fundamentals that have the ability to weather the economy sentiments. This company is one of them. Very cash rich, with no debts.

By glancing through the stock tickets. Almost all property developers stocks are in the heavy downtrend today. REITs are also affected. My guess is that the speculation of further cooling measures will be imposed during the budget meeting by gov might affect the mood of the shareholders. But nothing is conclusive and your guess is as good as anyone else. Let's see how it goes.

I have to agree, many good foundation stocks are going south in the stock price. Until now I still can't find any reasons... That is bizzare.

Well at least it is earning this quarter. Many firms are in fact reporting losses this quarter and without dividend payout. Still OK in my book.

I myself still think it has a good future. Hold. Just my 2 cents, not an advice to buy or sell.

overall it is still above average if compared with other companies. Many firms are reporting lukewarm results for the Q1 2014. Perhaps it is the whole market sentiments?

I'm quite surprised with the sudden fall. Any news that affect the company? So far everything looks not too alarming. Many companies in the market now also have falling profit. But at least it's not in the red isn't it?

Seems like many stocks are in hibernating mode. When is the dividend going to be released to us? Can't find it in the report. 1.5 cents is pretty good though.

Sounds like a good news? El Nino weather is expected next month onwards, and it will affect the output of palms... and hence price of palm oil might increase, but does this translate to earning for MBL?
