DAP must explain why only after pressured to help Kelantan announce 1.5 million allocation yet to be approved by LGE who is on vacation. DAP leaders only good at talking and making treats but so far fail to help its Pakatan PAS in Kelantan.

Why do DAP can only donate 10,000? Penang as 2nd richest state in Malaysia still ask rakyat to donate? Rakyat gave so much money to DAP during ceramahs and yet during this tragic time has no shame to ask money from rakyat again?

DAP has launched a flood donation drive to collect funds to help flood victims in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak, following similar efforts by PKR and PAS.

The party’s organising secretary Loke Siew Fook said to kick-start the donation drive, Central DAP committee has allocated RM10,000 for aid relief efforts.

He said the party’s state representatives have been told to collect funds in their respective areas this weekend.

"The donations will be channelled to areas which are badly affected by the floods," he said in a statement today.

In addition, Loke said a container of bottled mineral water and bread would also be sent to Gua Musang and Kuala Krai on Monday to be distributed to the victims in the areas.

"Efforts are under way to send more containers to the badly affected areas in Kelantan."

Loke said those wishing to contribute to the disaster fund may bank money into special disaster account "Tabung Dana Kecemasan" (Ambank 8881002244649). – December 26, 2014.

why is DAP so stingy? Only made 10,000 and already make donation drive to make money from flood victims !!! This is outrageous !!! Only yesterday DAP organized fundraising dinner for the party and yet today make a donation drive? Penang is 2nd richest state !!!!

MB Azmin Ali already release one million to flood victims in Kelantan. However, until today Penang, Malaysia 2nd richest state yet to announce any form of assistance. Why is DAP leaders so stingy?

Until today, LKS yet to personal come down to Kelantan to help. Why is LKS using fb to pull a punch on Ahjib? Why is Anwar and LGE away on vacation? Why is Pakatan leaders so silent?

Tell me beside critising bn didnt do this didnt do tht what did dap or pr do? Last i heard pr partner PAS is going ahead to table hudud bill tmr...and your bed partner even no bother to table emergency bill on flood rather than hudud.

Rather than play and shooting other parties, im sure u will earn much respect if you and your people walk by offer help and rescue to those who need and involve in devastating flood. I am not a pro bn supporter and 99% of the time, its all empty rhetoric and condemnation against dap from all the macai but I tend to agree with them this time round. While yb is quick to condemn the pm for this golfing vacation with obama, what has dap done to help with the east coast flood relief?

Fyi, mb azmin of selangor which is a pkr rule state has pledged RM1m to kelantan and more funds to the other affected states. In fact, he is going there himself. What steps has cm lge of penang, which is a dap rule state done? Why so quiet? Beside reading about a dap mp doing a fund raiser today, why has dap not organised any flood relief assistance for the east coast? I am sure penang can afford to do that if selangor can.

dap is missing this opportunity to help the rakyat and it really perplex me as to why that is the case? yb can criticize the pm for his vacation plan during this, as you put it, disaster but what have yb and dap done so far to help?
