The Group’s profit before tax (PBT) for the current quarter ended 31 January 2017 was
RM0.391 million, lesser as compared to RM0.818 million recorded in the preceding year
corresponding quarter ended 31 January 2016. This is mainly due to the higher revenue in the
lower margin segment, especially the IT hardware segment and also higher operating cost.

The PBT decreased from RM1.170
million to RM0.391 million mainly due to IT hardware segment which contributed highest
revenue in this quarter. This has a lower profit margin as compared to the other segments and
also a higher operating cost.
