Pity the one who bought from menort at RM5.10. If that was true at all. Look at where carepls is today.
RM3 loss per unit!
You don't wanna console the buyer there menort?

Come to think of it, probably more bilis traders were killed during Topglove volatile movements the past few weeks than here.
We are talking price changes in the range of -RM2 to +RM2. Lol definitely need special system setup for that. Multiple trades executed per second bro.

Shocked? Because you limited your definition of investment, to fundamentally strong companies. To you, if if doesn't meet your definition, then you call it punting, speculation, etc. Semantics.
I look at potentials. After all, that's what the stock market is about, buy low, sell high, ideally. If the glove plans materialized, AT can look forward to profitable years ahead.
As for PGSB, in the beginning, I am puzzled why would they go with this company at all. This company doesn't manufacture medical gloves. In fact if you go to the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council website, under marketplace, you'll find a list of other companies who might or might not be related to Bursa listed medical gloves maker. No PGSB there. Probably will cost more to acquire too.
After they announced their plans with PGSB then only, I started to think they might be up to something good. Either way, we'll wait for the result from the due diligence.
About the The Edge's article, I also thought that it was common knowledge, that you can see the same directors in all the company listed. Penny stocks are penny stocks for a reason.

why shocked? don't trust don't invest. It's cheap for a reason, people put money in it for a reason.

Understood. For me, as long as they are making acceptable progress with their gloves, I'll hold.

Of course I studied what I could. That's why I know how weak the company is.
You can either invest in a company that demonstrate strong fundamentals or invest in a company that is weak but on the right path to fix itself.
I believe that they will turn a new leaf. That's why I invest.
I don't speculate price reaction or movement in the short term. Better go buy 4D like you said :).
you inside here or not? If you're in, you have to believe. If not, you'll be in a bad mood all day ;)

just to introduce liquidity. Market makers passing shares from left hand to right. Retailers exiting because want to use money. Cannot wait anymore etc.
Lots of factors.
You laugh at us, are you inside too? What can you do if you're feeling trapped?
Do you have the fund to move the price?
Does cursing left and right help?
As for me, I read, I like what I read, I invest. I don't know TA. I only only know support/resistance. The most acceptable in my view.

This is my personal view lah. My view is long term one. So it is not for those who want to go short term.
1) Topglove has already shown us a very very valuable insight into the medical gloves industry.
Now the ball is in AT's court to speed up everything.
2) I don't mind the price staying at this level for another week or two haha. I am out of bullet to top up.
That's it.

No contra for this counter. Don't expect short term burst. If got, lucky you.
Too many people, even amongst people I know who just started trading shares earlier this march expect every news to cause Limit Up.
Do you know the basis of price of a stock for moving up?
People gotta buy.
If not enough money from public, then operator has to spend money to buy up. Why the operator should spend money to distribute money to short term traders who then brag on forums, wahaha "Me so smart, me buy, make money, people buy from me, so stupid people who buy from me at this price".
If you are shareholders and so doubtful, then attend the next AGM. If you attended last EGM, or knew anyone who attended, you should know whether promising or not.

and yes I fully understand acquiring PGSB doesn't require shareholders approval. They can even acquire discounted, cheap houses from the real estate market without our approvals as per what we understand from the rules.
But if they buy first and then shareholders doesn't approve the Gloves Business, what kind of contribution will PGSB be to AT since shareholders don't want?
Sell back for small profit?

UMNO57:
This one from circular:
"The Gloves Business is anticipated to contribute 25% or more of the NA and/or net profits
of the Group. Pursuant to Rule 10.13(1) of the Listing Requirements, the Company is
required to obtain Shareholders’ approval in a general meeting for any transaction or
business arrangement which might reasonably be expected to result in either:-
(a) the diversion of 25% or more of the NA of the listed corporation to an operation
which differs widely from those operations previously carried on by the listed
corporation; or
(b) the contribution from such an operation of 25% or more of the net profits of the
listed corporation."
and then this:
"As part of the Group’s venture into the Gloves Business, the Company had on 26 June
2020 announced the proposed acquisition by AGESB of the entire equity interest in
PGSB from the PGSB Vendors (“Acquisition of PGSB”)."
I keep saying the diversification into Glove Business needs shareholders approval.

Ok, I'll ask you this:
If shareholders doesn't approve venturing into gloves, buying PGSB useful or not?

which differs widely from those operations previously carried on by the listed corporation;

In assessing the extent of the diversification or the amount of contribution to net profits,
consideration should be taken of any associated transactions or loans affected or intended and of
contingent liabilities or commitments."
Getting into gloves diversification or not? Buying PGSB is considered getting into gloves or not?
I'm all for transparency but come on la, spewing nonsense when you're not even a shareholders is annoying as heck.

SMAX888, I pity you man. But that's the stock market for you.
I'm not sifu or guru or anything. Just thought I'd share an opinion.
How bad do you need the money from PDZ? If nothing too important, then you can still hang on to the hope that the SPV that PDZ planned with Sanichi will work out.
Both of these companies need some sort of income for a solid turnaround. They better be working hard to find and persuade potential investors for the SPV, if they failed, better get ready to run.
Johor state also needs projects. Money from Singapore is stuck due to RMCO.
That's all I can say. To hope for a goreng in the near future, I don't know.

Menort, venturing into the gloves making industry falls under proposed diversification. Proposed diversification needs shareholders approval.
Once shareholdes approved the proposals (collectively known as the proposals), AT can do whatever they want.
"In view thereof, the Board will be seeking the approval from the Shareholders for
the Proposed Diversification at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened.
Notwithstanding the Proposed Diversification, the Board intends to continue with the
Group’s existing businesses in the same manner."

kc02245 - lol I don't know. Maybe ticked by their attempts.
Menort, if you can read, surely you would have read the contents of the latest circular regarding their plans with PGSB. You know how many lines they planned for PGSB? Go read.
Stockiss above already answered, they need shareholders approval for glove project+PGSB.
As for the spending for AEMHB, I too can only make assumptions. You want best answer can ask during their EGM, IF you're going la.
Is it wasteful, maybe. Do they have projects that they are after (5G, pcbs etc?) I don't know
But I'd like to share a theory (although I don't like it - just to expand the possibilities and for the sake of discussion), at the moment, price of PP has not been determined.
It will be done in tranches.
Let's say, AT's price suddenly shoot up to 22 cent, cincai, price of first tranche of PP is 20 cent after 10% discount, so let's say they issue 150 million new shares during this one. So they are getting 30 million just from the first tranche. After 150 million shares, they can still issue roughly another 600 million shares under PP.
With Topglove taiko announcing their achievement (order for a year already secured etc), AT will probably manage to get potential PP buyers easily.

1) Here's the announcement regarding the fund for AEM https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_information/announcements/company_announcement/announcement_details?ann_id=3087073
2) Remember about PP? what do you think that is for?
3) Tell me now, do they need shareholders approval or not to venture into gloves?
4) Tell me now, do they need shareholders approval or not to spend considerable amount to buy PGSB?
I'm not from any investment bank or syndicate. I like the truth instead of theories.

LittleCat, one of the main factors:
Moratorium is ending.
Retail traders want to get money back from the market to prepare to start paying installments next month.
Which is also why operators don't bother to push the price. Why should they distribute the money :P.
Which is why a lot of people in a lot of counters are agitated because prices are not moving in their favour.
