Khazanah is said to have agreed to sell Silterra, which is part of its strategic fund, to a consortium led by Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX), according to a filing by DNeX on Feb 8.

The Edge reported on Jan 11 that DNeX offered a total of RM470 million for the acquisition of a 100% stake in Silterra, in which it will hold 60%, and its partner Beijing CGP Investment Co Ltd the remaining 40%. The consortium is among four bidders eyeing the Kulim-based chip foundry, according to reports.

That said, its perfectly normal to be fooled by the wrong perception that silterra is good. When the dust settle, a simple reality will set in. The fact is Silterra is a 20 yr old problematic company for khazanah making losses again n again n again nonstop. It will take years n years to fix it.

Some still in denial. But todays last hour action was the nail on this dnex coffin.

In a matter of days it will break todays low of 0.565 to low 50s with one shallow rebound & head to mid 40s to range bound there.

Those bought at 0.75 n dreaming to sell at 1.00 will lose 30 cents a piece or 40% in coming days.

You know what they say. Cut yr losses short. This is how to survive in this shark eat shark business.
