Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 15 March 2021 pertaining to the Agreement for the purpose of supplying a total of 10 million units SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit to MTPS, the Board of Directors of BCM ("Board") wishes to announce that BC Medicare and MTPS had on 22 November 2021 mutually agreed to terminate the Agreement with effect from 22 November 2021 as MTPS is not able to obtain the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) license from the Ministry of Public Health to distribute SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kid (“Termination”).



The Termination is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets, gearing, share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.



The Termination is not subject to the approval of the Company’s shareholders and/or any regulatory authorities.



None of the directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the Termination.


The Board, having taken into consideration all aspects of the Termination, is of the opinion that the Termination is made in the best interests of the Company.
