他强调，这是要“诓骗”（misled）祖斯多，以取得机密资料，踢爆一马公司案。

“是的，我们诓骗他。但这是取得证据的唯一途径，以踢爆一小撮马来西亚人与外国人，如何欺骗马来西亚人民的18亿3000万美元（约69亿7000万令吉）。”

“他的访谈言论，也证实我们之前所说，即我们从未付钱给任何人。”

否认篡改文件倒政府

童贵旺指出，祖斯多在《海峡时报》的访谈文章中显得十分愤怒，但这可以理解，因为他并没按照祖斯多的要求付钱。

针对祖斯多指责他取文件的目的是要推翻政府，童贵旺也“四两拨千斤”地否认。

“肯定的，如果我们有这个企图，我们不会告诉一个初次见面的人。更何况，我们知道他一定会不满我们，因为我们本就打算不会付钱给他。”

童贵旺也否认The Edge媒体集团篡改文件。

“没有篡改，我们马上在含有40万封电邮与文件的硬碟，采用数字指纹加密。”

“我们本周交给国家银行、警方与反贪会的光碟，正是祖斯多交给我们的同一个副本。而祖斯多也已说明，他并未篡改文件。”

“这是18亿美元骗局”

童贵旺指出，The Edge集团根据文件整理出来的资金流，显示一马公司的资金如何流向不同人在数个国家的银行账户。

他说，The Edge集团已把这些资料交给调查单位，而我国当局可轻易向其他国家的调查单位确认真伪。

“可以理解，祖斯多怨恨不平，但这起事件无关祖斯多，也跟我们无关。这是通过一马公司与沙地石油联营计划，以骗取马来西亚人民18亿3000万美元的骗局。”

童贵旺表示，随着一马公司如今面对多个政府机构调查，再加上一马公司濒临破产，亟需拯救，印证了The Edge媒体集团一直以来的报道与揭露。

“我们没有做错任何事，我们在这里协助调查单位调查，而不像那些似已失踪不见的人那样。”

上月，祖斯多涉嫌勒索前雇主沙地石油公司，在泰国被捕。

其后，马来西亚政府一再宣称，从沙地石油公司泄漏而出的文件资料，曾经人篡改，以陷害首相纳吉与一马公司。

《海峡时报》在泰国扣留所访问了祖斯多，并在今日刊登访问稿。祖斯多在访谈中提到，大马商人献议760万令吉向他买下这些涉嫌从沙地石油国际公司偷窃出去的资料，但对方至今却尚未付钱。

祖斯多表示，他在今年初会晤这些买家，对方商量着如何利用这些文件“推翻马来西亚政府”，同时谈到“篡改文件”的计划。

hng33, I tried once with puncak call warrant, it went from a profit of over 50% to a loss of 100% having too ambitious on water restructuring... Now, try to avoid any call/put warrants unless I learn how to sell first.

I have managed to sell Puncak-W and buy similar Puncak shares for the past few days with a RM 0.89 - 0.90 differences per share. Wonder if this is a right move?

The supplementary agreement to the master agreement for the water
restructuring exercise in Selangor, which was signed in 2014, is positive but
long overdue. It is good news that both sides of the government have sorted out
the land transfer issues but the 60-day allowance for both parties to comply
with the undisclosed condition precedents (CPs) suggests that the impact will
not trickle down to the stalled water deals of Puncak and Gamuda in the near
term. Our channel checks support this view. The state's deteriorating reserve
margin for treated water, which dropped to below 1% as at Jun 15 (from 5%
since 2008), unscheduled water disruptions and risk of non-revenue water
(NRW) rising above the current 32% level could lead to faster revival of
Puncak's RM1.6bn sale and purchase (S&P) deal with the state. We would place
greater conviction in this if Puncak announces that the CPs for the S&P have
been fulfilled, as this would provide clearer timing of the RM1/share special
dividend payout. For now, the earliest window appears to be 4Q15, in our view.

KUALA LUMPUR (July 13): Kenanga Research has maintained their ‘Overweight’ stance on the water sector, with a recommendation for investors to accumulate shares in Puncak Niaga Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) for their special dividend payment of RM1 per fully diluted (fd) shares.

This follows the signing of the supplemental agreement for the water industry restructuring and consolidation of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya last Friday (July 10), which concludes the negotiations of the Selangor State Government (SSG) with the Federal Government.

“This news certainly reinforces our ‘Overweight’ stance on the Water sector,” Kenanga analyst Iqbal Zainal said in a sector update released today.

He also revised Puncak Niaga’s target price (TP) down to RM3.29, from RM3.99 previously, but said it was still an ‘Outperform’ call with a potential upside of 18%.

Although SPLASH was not mentioned in the SSG’s media statement, it was believed the SSG would negotiate with Gamuda and Sweet Water Alliance, SPLASH’s shareholders, after the completion of Puncak Niaga’s SPA to resolve their valuation issues.

Downstream players such as Hiap Teck Venture Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), Engtex Group Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), YLI Holdings Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), George Kent (M) Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), and Jaks Resources Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) are expected to benefit, following the SSG’s announcement that it would focus on improving the water treatment and distribution systems to reduce the Non-Revenue Water (NRW).

Kenaga expected this to benefit pipe makers over the medium-long term, rather than the near term, as they do not foresee the government spending aggressively on replacing water pipes in the near future.

before crude oil price collapsed and Puncak no longer shariah compliant, Puncak was between 3.30 - 3.50 when Azmin delayed the consolidation. Wonder if we can reach this level again given agreement?!? And once restructuring is completed, wonder if Puncak will cross its earlier peak of 3.74 to between 3.80 - 4.20 to reflect its other businesses besides cash hoard of 3.70?!?

roger, Puncak barely moves over the past 6 months, trading between 2.5x and 3.1x, with the range between 2.60 - 2.80 the most occurrence. On the other hand, over the past 2 weeks, most stocks have fallen (I guess its at least over 80%.) So, in the way, not too bad given only hurdle with Puncak now is a water restructuring completion.

hng33 yes, puncak can always claim a speedy court settlement is imminent due to a need to serve people water. But Singor seems to suggest Fed is not in a hurry to solve the water issue too, sigh!

Singor, I don't know what to be gain with a lengthy delay of water restructuring (guess that's why I can never be politician.) Our politicians need to learn to COMPROMISE! Umno losses that when they have the majority for too long (getting too bossy), and PKR acted as if they can do anything with people's mandate (they really need to look at and learn from Tsipras). Truth is, they are anything but a form of extremists!

Also, something I don't like about the Ministry of Energy and Water's comment yesterday. There is no comment on how and steps to be taken to address the last hurdle in getting water deal completed or if there is any steps taken to address water shortage. ImCK & chrischan, alas, hng33 has bought and sold Puncak the way he sees fit for quite some time. When he sold yesterday, he did make us known of his trade but we didn't follow or hesitated for too long. His approach, while earning him bigger return, carries additional risk (I believe) as well. I am used to buy and hold for slight longer period (my longest is Citigroup for 7 years already) and not good at trading short term. So, follow him if you find his approach good or learning other approaches that you are comfortable. No need to hantam hng33 lah, he has contributed a lot towards updated news and financial analysis of Puncak.

what I never understand is why can't Azmin just call up Ongkili to verify the status before announcing the news in the public? It's AG that request for state to handover the land rather than Ongkili. A double confirmation from Ongkili would have made matter clearer.

The news is out around 4.10 pm, yet by the closing, Puncak price is at 2.68, up 1 cent. I guess the situation is not as dire to the extent a sale is urgent?

hng33, seems like the restructuring has only one last hurdle, i.e., the land. And its an old issue that can't be addressed unless either side, state or federal, decides to give in. Guess this is also why I dare not sell after holding for so long, anything is possible in this BOLEH land
