What airasia do is to put already thinning future gain into present financial report. When we book the ticket we pay, the money is recorded as present gain. OK now look at the promotion email AA sent, travel period and fare price, indicating lower profit margin coming quarter. When things goes wrong, we will see who is swimming naked.
