Looks like remaining 40% of GAP profit has not been factored in. It will be reflected positively in Q2 since the 100% completion done in June.

Main difference QoQ i saw on Manufacturing segment, resulting in a loss in 1Q20 instead of highest earner segment on 1Q19, mainly due to manufactured products got interrupted or shipment delayed caused by covid19. Manufacturing cost also incurred in building prototypes in order to win bid over new business such as Nasal swabs, NASA Vital ventilators, etc..

Good point to take from the report are:
1. Pilot manufacturing for Nasal Swabs has already begun as scheduled on May
2. Manufacturing and distribution of NASA Vital ventilators will begin in Q3.
3. Both are expected to spur revenue in the medical/healthcare device segment in 2020 subject to achieving the respective devices approval milestones from the relevant authorities in the targeted countries. US FDA is already approved, no further approval required.
4. Cloud business expansion in Singapore recently, and the GAP 100% acquisition will contribute higher profits for the following quarter in this segment.

My advice, investors buy on future prospects, not based on old results.

IB has revised up the margin price call for the gloves stock, plus IDSS extension till Dec, that's why you see the glove craziness again today.

Not to forget other 21 companies in other countries may be facing lockdown and cannot operate 100% or do pilot manufacturing in full capacity. But, in Malaysia K1 can, this is the advantage.

Cloud business is getting better, is a new normal now, all business digitalized and cloud is the future. 100 % takeover of GAP can bring only good benefits zero harm.

Worldwide especially US is on record high cases everyday. Nasa venvilator will begin pilot manufacturing in Q3, next week is Q3 already. NASA giving the license is not for no purpose, they forsee the rising cases already. For US, no further approval is needed, same for Nasal swab.

Highly possible that MoH has approved hence they move forward to next step which is production therefore the MOU with TT Biotech took place.

I did the same background check for the TT Biotech company located in Penang, the material suits most for Nasal Swab production. For ventilator production, they should look for semiconductor or electrical related partner instead.
