Yes...look like insiders already started selling when it was 44.5 sen. So the drop already factored in. Thats why when it dropped today, it was not as drastic as anticipated. There are still strong support coming in as AAX is a fundamentally strong company. I expect some technical rebound soon to retest 44.5 sen since the profit of 11 million is much better than 2nd quarter.

A person who earned 10K in Malaysia should go and work in USA for a US10K job. That will only justify his own ability as a person. The currency devaluation is really no meaning. The person is still the same person. AAX should hedge more currencies to avoid any currency fluctuations.

A person who earned 10K in Malaysia is considered inferior compared to a person earning US$3K in the USA. hahahaha.....Thats what happened to AAX which is supposed to be a good company.

If not TF will not be going around buying aeroplanes and finding new routes in China. The business cannot expand without profit coming. If they are losing money they will have to cut short of all these activities. They have to downsize instead of kept looking for more business. So at 40 sen, I think AAX is very cheap. Wait for tomorrow. Lets see the results.

About 60% of AirAsia Bhd’s fleet of aircraft are hedged to minimise exposure to the currency fluctuation and volatility of oil price, said group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

He said the low cost carrier has natural (currency) hedging or fuel hedging strategies to mitigate its risks.
