But for typical commoner; they only know “Woah, 1USD is RM4.8 now. RM so useless”. but they forgot if they sell american the same 1USD, they get RM4.8 instead of RM3.3

Implication of strengthening USD; If u buy dollar, it cost you more. If u sell dollar, it earns u more.

Now with this understanding; fed cut interest will increase or reduce inflation? And if fed cut interest, USD is strengthen or weaken? And weaken dollar good or bad for velesto?

i think folks here have difficulty understanding the relationship between interest and currency exchange.

Here’s the relationship
1) fed increase interest; strengthen USD; reduce US liquidity; reduce inflation; velesto USD revenue translate to more revenue in rm.
2) fed reduce interest; weaken USD; increase US liquidity; might increase inflation; velesto USD trade receivables owed in USD might translate to forex gain.

I wouldn’t recommend using PE of industry as a whole as comparison. Say a new IPO will probably have far higher PE for their potential. E.g. 50sen for 0.005 annualised profit will put it at PE100 just solely on their prospect, but as the optimism of their earning potential subside, price will eventually fall back to normal valuation.

A more accurate valuation method will be comparing to its relatively similar peers in terms of market cap/earnings. e,g Mahsing. Mahsing making less profit with higher market cap at PE 20. If market values KSL 50% of how they value Mahsing will put KSL at PE10. There is almost 100% upside at current price.

Then question will become, how come market don’t value KSL the same as how they value Mahsing. That will open up different can of worms.

Totally my bad on that one – thanks for catching it! I had a typo in my previous post. What I meant was that if KSL's P/E ratio matches half the average P/E of its peers, not a 50% of the price.

So, here's the deal: If you buy 1,000 shares of KSL at RM1.84 (costing RM1,840) and KSL's P/E ratio rises to half the average of its peers, the projected stock price would be RM7.25 per share.

Still a pretty sweet deal and more than doubles your investment! Appreciate you pointing out the mistake.

Suppose you buy 1,000 shares of KSL at the current price. KSL’s price is low compared to its earnings and other similar companies.
If you buy 1,000 shares of KSL at RM1.84 = RM1,840
If the price goes up by 50% (close the P/E gap) = RM7,250
That is more than double your money.

Shark also smart to choose counters. Only those they confident won’t turn to shit mcm serbadinamik.

20-25sen, 25-30, or 30-35sen. I think they most comfortable at 25-30sen. 15-20% every 1-1.5months.

this counter is heavily manipulated. Hv to learn to swim with the sharks to be successful.

1/3 hold long term, 1/3 play every 5% selldown buy and take profit every 5% up. Last 1/3 for > 25% drop to play next level.

1 year got 10-20 times 5% also can make 50-100 return. 5% each time. Don’t be greedy.

Buy more when down, sell when up. Leave half for long term

this counter is only RM1.9B at 100m profits. Given it’s landbank, completed hotels and malls, and inventories should easily put it at RM3-4B market cap for price of RM3/4.
