Chan was speaking to reporters after the group’s EGM here, together with novaHEALTH Pte Ltd CEO Lai Teik Kin. He said one focus area would be the Malaysian market.

Without divulging further, Chan said the group has seen an increase in engagements under the new business environment since the change of government.

The group is currently waiting for approvals from Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA) to begin the marketing of SELENA+ through its 42%-owned subsidiary EyRIS Pte Ltd. The system was jointly developed by the Singapore Eye Research Institute and the National University of Singapore.

修一修补补，个人见解Samchem，这家公司本身是负责代理各种大型石油公司的产品，提供的服务包括散装，储存，运输和化学品blending。公司的化学品用途多元化，包括汽车（尤其是有新车味，这是化学品） ，油漆，工业制造，农业，润滑油原料(Naza润滑油品牌是公司最近新的客户)。公司的客户群，一般上都是大型的公司。公司最大的三个市场，分别是马来西亚，印尼和越南。大家翻读我之前的分享：http://thestockme.com/%E5%88%86%E6%9E%90-samchem/

目前Samchem的股价是RM1.02，但是过去两个季度的盈利已经超越了我之前的分享数字。以最新季度的数据来计算，全年的盈利应该介于3500万-4000万，每股盈利应该会在13sen-15sen左右。以目前的股价来算，公司的PE在7,8而已，实属有些低迷。近期发生的一些变化，已经使得这公司的估值相当诱人。

环顾GST和SST的冲击下，各行各业都无法避免出现阵痛。在SST 9月实行后，新一轮的通胀将会来临，各个公司都无法避免出现成本走高的问题，但是对于像DKSH和Samchem的中间人来说，则是一个有利的因素。更高的通胀导致更高的价钱，会产生更多的营业额，中间人赚的是中间的差价，例如销售额额的5%，蛋糕现在大块了，公司自然能够产生更多利润。

在宣布取消GST后，很多厂家都选择采取观望态度，在过渡期间都没什么去进货。但是GST取消，到SST实行之前，这段时间属于Tax Holiday，对于很多厂家和消费者而言，大家都会选择善用这段时间去存货和进行大宗购买。这有助于Samchem 和DKSH 的销售额，推高公司的利润。在实行SST后，商品将会在工厂源头或港口抽取一层性的税务，而中间商则能够把成本转嫁给最终消费者，过程中中间商将无需再承担GST，相比来说，Samchem作为化学品的中间商，其产品的必需程度相对来说较高，厂家都需要化学品来加工制造，因此价格影响相对来说比较少，反而石油走势影响较大。因此，在还没正式废除GST之前，Samchem的销售额会比较缓慢，在废除GST后，Samchem的销售额会在厂家大规模进行储存后迅速增加，而实行了SST后，由于化学品是必需品，厂家也需要定时买货，所以销售额也缓慢些，不过不多，这些影响主要会反应在公司Q2和Q3的季度报告上。整体来说，中间商的全年财政报告应该会向好。现在石油价格高企，Samchem Q1的盈利已经达到8百90万，全年盈利估计在3500万-4000万。加上没有GST，公司的盈利更有进一步发展的空间。

Samchem还有一个有利因素：公司在越南的子公司要上市了。目前越南市场是公司里面成长最迅速地市场，公司选择在这时候把越南子公司上市，无疑是想攻打越南市场，把生意做大。越南子公司应该会在9月-12月这段时间上市，祝公司好运了。不知道股东能否分到特别股息？这就要问老板了。

以目前的大环境来看，SST影响层面广大，一出厂或进口的商品都会受影响。虽然说政府会选择针对性征税，不过这种你看不到的10%隐形之手在哪里，我们还是买入比较处于有利位置的中间商。而中间商当中，以Samchem的估值最为吸引，股息高且稳定（8月8日又有股息拿了），前景明亮（越南子公司上市，马来西亚免除GST. cash flow 多出7至8百万），PE又低（才PE 7;8），老板心态非常棒，每季度乐意派发股息，已建议未来派发更高股息1.5cen.及越南子公司上市后派送warant 2:1.值得收住。suisui
