since mid Dec 2014, FBMACE is up similar to KLCI.....however, there were some divergences around these dates:
5/3 to 13/3 - ACE up, KLCI down
16/3 to 18/3 - ACE down, KLCI up
19/3 to now - ACE up, KLCI up

maybe due to GST, retail has been selling, etc...

Still, I am looking at last para [referring to post Apr 2, 2015 06:13 AM] for exit/entry...correct me please, but are we now in mid higher BB and today I see some pushing started...

KNM fixes rights share price at 50 sen, warrant exercise price at RM1

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 17): KNM Group Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) fixed its rights share price at 50 sen apiece to raise up to RM215.25 mllion. The process equipment manufacturer's rights issue issue involves up to 430.49 million new shares on the basis of one rights unit for every five existing shares held.

KNM (fundamental: 0.85; valuation: 1.2) said in its filing with Bursa Malaysia today the price of its rights shares was set at a 29.58% discount to the five-day volume-weighted average market price of 71 sen.

KNM has proposed the cash call to reduce debt and finance working capital needs.

The rights issue comes with 215.25 million new free detachable warrants. One warrant will be given to shareholders for every two rights shares subscribed.

The warrants have an exercise price of RM1.

At 12:30pm, KNM shares slipped 1.5 sen or 2.08% to settle at 70.5 sen for a market capitalisation of RM1.14 billion. A total of 12.42 million shares changed hands.

The stock had risen 44% this year, outperforming the FBM KLCI's 3% gain.

means if got acquisition, SMRT have to inform bursa, appoint sponsor/advisor b4 terms r agreed upon n also have to get the shareholders' approval as per ACE market listing requirements.

However, nothing is 100% certain here but at least we have some idea to reassure ourselves basing on SMRT's announcement...I also hope press conference won't be negative news..

Although not we are not 100% certain but the probability of good news should be higher than bad news...why hold a press conference if they abort the acquisition?

Furthermore, the bursa announcement states that :

......SMRT intends to hold a press conference and make a material announcement on a transaction as defined under Rule 10.02(j) of the Listing Requirements, where the percentage ratio calculated in accordance with Chapter 10 of the Listing Requirements is 25% or more.
