KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 08) -- UOB Kay Hian Securities keeps Buy call and target price of MYR3.50 for V.S. Industry, says recent correction an opportunity to accumulate the stock at more attractive valuations. Shares now down 0.7% at MYR2.69, its fifth consecutive session of losses after its 43.5%-owned VS International Group issued a profit warning that the group is expecting to record a more than 60% decline in its 1HFY18 results on year. "We estimate that VS International's 2HFY18 results will come in stronger on year on the commencement of production from higher orders," says house in investor note. Dyson's decision to halt the development of plug-in vacuum cleaners earlier this week, also weighs on V.S. Industry's share price. Still, "we do not view the news as negative as we believe the declining orders for the plug-in floor care products will be offset or more than offset by higher orders for products in the cordless category," adds house.

Judging from SKPRES quarter performance, i dont think VS will be able to show superb profit this time.mainly due to strong ringgit performance the past 3 months...just my brief&simple minded opinion..
