越南政府日前宣佈推行先導計劃，讓超過21歲的越南人可以投注國際足球賽事。


計劃宣佈前，越南已禁止任何形式的賭博多年，僅容許少量只招待外國人的賭場經營。

在越南政府的計劃下，接受下注的足球賽事，必需得到國際足球總會（FIFA）的承認。除了足球賽事外，計劃亦批准賽馬和賽狗的賭博。

計劃對注碼亦有規限，例如足球賽事的注碼不能超過100萬越南盾（約200令吉），另外有興趣下注的人士與需要經國家認可的機構或人士下注。

有越南人對政府的決定感到雀躍，稱不再需要進行非法賭博。不過亦有人持相反意見，認為賭博合法化或會使賭徒招致經濟上的損失及家庭不和。

越南政府於上月曾宣佈，越南人自今年3月中起可在國內的賭場進行賭博，是次賭博合法化的法令亦經過了多年討論。

韓國政府證實，首都首爾一隻水鳥屍體，驗出高致病性H5N6禽流感病毒，是兩年來首度有禽流感入侵首爾。發現鳥屍地點的半徑10公里，已被當局指定為嚴格監測區，區內的活禽、禽肉及蛋類亦被禁止輸出。

韓國國立環境科學院經過檢查後，確認1月30日在漢江城東渡發現的一隻鳳頭鷿鷈屍體，帶有H5N6禽流感病毒。市政府官員表示，H5N6禽流感病毒是高致病性，因此預先採取了防疫措施，並會在周末為當地的農場、車輛消毒。市政府曾於2015年2月，在同一地區檢測到H5N8禽流感爆發。
