Agree with you all on this... reason why I made the statement of comparing DKSH with Harisons, is because someone wrote about PMCorp, which is no comparison with DKSH! I have been keeping dksh since it was listed and it was pretty cheap, less than a dollar, until this year when it shot up! I didnt even notice this counter, until I receive a notification of the sale of its land in PJ... and that was when I started to check out on this company. Wishing all DKSH minority shareholders all the best!

TDM one lot becomes 6 lots, so RM5.00 adjusted price should be 83 cts. It went up as high as 90+ cents, if i can remember, coz I sold after the bonus/split issues. There are pros and cons of selling before/after bonus issue. Sometimes after adjustment, the price will still shoot up!

Local company, but part of Harisons & Crossfield UK. Yes, Harisons similar to DKSH, that's why was told to buy it instead of DKSH, but thought DKSH easier to push up as very little shares in the open market, as you rightly said. Anyway, no regrets buying DKSH as the share price is slowly but surely moving up!

A loss making company! Just because of 'rumours' that it will sell1MPaint to the government bumi contractors for all their goverment jobs, the share price went up! Crazy!!! Nowadays, so many 1Malaysia this and that, what more to believe??

Haikeyila....if this counter goes down to 1.25, then I will buy... the risk is lower then. Retirees like me cannot afford to be too big a risk taker! Already heavily invested in the stock market years back, and still holding (mostly good dividend yielding stocks), so any 'new' investment must be done prudently!

Fyi, for retirees, they can still put into their EPF account, up to RM5,000/month or RM60,000 a year. This restriction effective from 1/1/13, whereas before that, one can put in as much as one wants into his EPF account. Limit age is 75 years old.

thinkndo... yes, this counter was RM1 something few years ago, and skyrocketted to above RM9! A pleasant surprise for me, though, coz I kept this counter since it was listed many years ago!! One lot became 3.2 lots, and still keeping. Considering selling but earnings not bad!

If only we have a crystal ball, and can see into the future!! When markets worldwide bad, KLSE will surely not be spared! As long as one do not put all our eggs in one basket, then we shouldnt fear much.
