In the announcement it says "the purpose of the Proposed Further Issue is to facilitate the market making process of the Existing Issue."
Perhaps the demand for H1 is high and their inventory is getting low.
The size of FBMKLCI-HW was increased from 50,000,000 to 150,000,000 on last Monday 24th August 2015. I did not notice anything unusual.
By the way, the tentative listing date for the Proposed Further Issue of FBMKLCI-H1 is 09 September 2015.

new_old_fool is correct. The put warrants increase in value today because of bearish sentiment. People expected index to be lower next week, so they sold call warrants and bought put warrants. Luckily the index stabilized most of the day and there was great demand for put warrants. That is the reason, not bolehland magic.

If you are happy with the gains in the second half, maybe you should think about profit taking. As pointed out by ashtray earlier, there is no guarantee that the index will be red next Tuesday. Probably a lot of sellers Tuesday morning no matter what happens during the weekends.

After reading comments by AJ, I am convinced that it is the correct decision to buy a put warrant but we have to beware that there maybe intervention of some stupid local funds to push up the index. Probably already happened 2 times in the last couple of days (last Thursday and this Tuesday). They have to report to Bursa eventually so it can be checked later. When I expected a red day, the index was pushed up almost immediately after the opening minute and gradually throughout the day.
Either we sit tight to endure this type of intervention (but the swing can be quite big), or we can sell first and probably buy back later.
Disclaimer: I do not own any put warrants at this time.

Looks like the prices of put warrants are also well supported. Could be worse!

yea, the number of decliners actually increases in the afternoon session. Maybe government fund is supporting selected counters again?

win2win, we who buy put warrants anticipate the KLCI index to drop further.

By the way, the volume increase for most put warrants today. Most likely more and more people know about put warrants. More demand will translate to higher price

the situation in Malaysia has not improved. In fact, the newspaper headlines are getting worse day by day. Exchange rate, oil price, politics, etc. I will hold for intermediate term (up to a few weeks)

today is not a good day for put warrants ... especially if you do not intend to hold them for more than a few days.

Some of you did not study at all before buying the put warrants...
I follow the put warrants at this web site. They also have some basic information about warrant. Please read them. At least observe and compare

Even after today's drop, some of China companies are trading at PE ratio more than 100. Crazy price... We will be rich if it happens here, remind me of 1997.
No wonder people dare to play put warrant CHINA50-H8 and CHINA50-HA

For those put warrants less than RM0.50, I also think H1 is the safest bet... reasonable premium, nice volume and more responsive to the change of index.
Disclaimer: I do not own H1

Will it affect the price of FBMKLCI-HW? The issue price is RM0.15 but will they sell at that price?

NO doubt fundamental is important, but you can not overlook the sentiment side. They both move stocks.
By the way, we do not know how long these export stocks will enjoy the favorable exchange rate.
Anyway, stock price are falling elsewhere, including more solid companies. Some are approaching 5 years low, or even 10 years low. There are value stocks to be picked.
Investors are spoiled with choices. A good problem to have!

alphajack, I understand that research analysts are the "licensed promoters", but some of the information in their reports are worth knowing, saving us time to get the data from various sources. Better for people to read the reports instead of listening to rumors or what is said in a forum. Besides, the higher the target price, the better for traders.

Echo, one thing you have done great is that you have read the analyst reports. You have done your research from the professionals.
Here are some suggestions for you:
a) read as many reference books as possible. Knowledge is king!
b) use a charting software
a basic one can be downloaded from http://jstock.org/
it comes with up to 10 years of historical data
c) learn how to interpret the candlestick chart in the charting software (more reading for you)

rizerlee, I did not suggest people to buy MBHB. I merely pointed out that people should look at related companies to get investment ideas.
First of all, people should not base on what is said in this forum to make an investment decision. Most of us are not professional. People still need to look at the financial results and analyst reports (some of them are available for free at this nice web site) . Look at the cold hard numbers.

Yup, that is why Buffett bought maker of aircraft components instead of airline.
That is why investors should look at Malaysia Airports as well to see which one is a better choice (too bad they also have their own problem)

My observation is this:
HV - the price quoted is high, demand is high, you pay a high price but should be able to sell at higher price (unless there is a change of demand)

Bloomberg reports that China market is trading at median 53 P/E. The evaluation is simply too high. Stock market intervention only wastes time and money.
