beside just cut loss, we can also cut loss and buy back. in this case u can stay invested in the good company while escaping crazy market rout. but be prepare to pay some fees if u make the wrong call. just treat it as insurance fee for risk mitigation.

Or just do nothing if u can stand the volatility.

isn't there is an increase in total number of shares and those new shares are normally priced at a discounted rate, thus technically diluting the value of each share u owe? But i heard normally the dilution is minimal or negligible.
