The Company wishes to inform that CaspiOilGas LLP (“COG”), General Director Mr. Saubay Izbassarov has written a field report to inform Sumatec Resources Berhad (“SRB”) that COG has reactivated the oil production enhancement program in 2nd half of 2017.

The oil production is expected to reach 1500bbl/d by end of March 2018.

Another 1000bbl/d can be added to the oil production after the completion of 12 well workovers by end of August 2018.

The total oil production can further increase to about 7500bbl/d with the drilling of two new deep Triassic wells by end of 2018.

The well locations have been identified and the drilling contract has been awarded as per announcement on 28th June 2017.

Under the Joint Investment Agreement (JIA) between SRB and COG and the field development plan, SRB also has claim on associated gas by way sharing of condensates.

In addition to the GDPA, certain cost can be recouped from gas production.
