Cars in Uk we thought were expensive but I bought an X5 4.4 litre for less than Rm 250 k has tv , sat leather and personal number plate.
If prices were lower here people would perhaps chane thme more often - so tax revenue could be the same or little higher.

Even in Hong Kong I bought a %25 Se BMW for less than Rm 250k and their tax is supposed to be high.

Cant see me spending the amount they want for a BMW here - maybe settle for Honda motorbike - ha ha.

Predicting the future is not possible - it can give you an indication I agree but the stock market over the world is littered with companies that made good profits but for one reason or another went to the wall - the great depression 1000's of good companies making profits for many years some 50 or so went under through no fault of their own.
i still agree with you though it gives you a good indication and you must enter the trade knowing or understanding the risks and what you are comfortable with.Many companies have made losses for a number of years but then made profits.
If the EU gets worse there will be many good profitable companies go to the wall if it gets better a lot of bad companies will live to fight another day - sad but true.
I am off to the Euro's and then the Olympics so wont be around for about 6 - 8 weeks so hope as I say what ever your strategy you all have good succes. remember never risk more than you afford to loose and you will stay happy.All the best to you all. Ted A

you are absolutely right - it is up to the individual - however we all know a stock doesnt have to be profitable to increase in value - it can rise or fall at the whim of the market - so you pay your money and take your chance - who knows tomorrow it could go up double or halve in value ( neither of which I am predicting ).

Go back to earlier comment never buy on anyone elses recommendation - do your own research - buy or not to buy is in your own hands/ strategy ! My stragey has worked just fine for me - it may not be yours though Ted A

The noise and distraction of the above will not help ! However the mass of people will have been chasing the hot stocks of the day hoping to make a killing - hence over 90 5 of them dont make any money on the stock market.

Given the company will sustain an income of Rm 250 - 300 million from the succesful rollout, you can bet the volume will increase when this starts to happen.
People need to underatand as bro Chong has highlighted several times this a medium to long term investment - so a days trading is neither here nor there.
During the coming days/weeks there will be setbacks I am sure - it is only natural. Provided the company is successful in managing the roll out ( i have no reason to doubt it will be ) the future should be good - especially as they predict to be in profit within 2 years - which is excellent performance if/when achieved. my investment has been based on a 4 - 5 year timescale - so any sooner I will be delighted.
As always it is up to the individual to decide if it is worth the risk or not based on their own research and patience !

the company will no doubt be planning prress releases along the way which will also help I am sure.

You also need to understand a lot of not very nice people will want to have this system fail from the small time theif to the big time smugglers - all who will be keen for it to fail. From my experiance in the Uk and Usa a similar system has been very successful - as I said earlier it operates very profitably in the retail distribution alone and i am sure with this enhanced version Smartag once they have proven their home market would / could become a big player in the world market.
We buy the stock but remember their are a lot of clever people working on this within Smartag whose job depends on it being a success - so they will be working extremly hard for it to be a hit.

Rather long answer - sorry but hope it helps people understand the risk reward ratio - choice is up to you - I will continue to buy untill i am satisfied with what i am holding.
I met Bill Gates a few years ago - he told me when he was working in his garage on Microsoft lots of people said to him it was a rubbish company - to which he would reply "there is plenty of money in rubbish" You just need to know what to do with it and have a bit of luck on the way ! Thanks for the feedback Kulimkia - these is good info - on the other hand big companies such as DHL are saying they are happy with the system after the trial - according to the press etc.

As bro Chong has said all along it is for long term strategy - decision is to buy now in the belief it will rise in future or to wait to invest later if the stock increases ( minimising profit). the decision is always a call by the individual. I know that in other countries a similar system is used extensively - UK for instance many of the majoy retailers use similar system to great effecct.

According to bro Chong feedback company reckon will be showing profit within 2 years - which if achieved is outstanding and will require strong management.
Not surprised in the iT issues needing refining - I have project managed several multi million sterling projects where iT solutions were involved - they never run to plan but get there eventually. I believe if Smartag get their act together they will achieve great success. However if they dont they will just trundle along, at .22 a share or thereabouts its not such a gamble - unless you cant afford to loose that much.
It will be interesting to see how they perform over next 3 - 6 months

1.IF you cant afford to loose the money ( or wait upto 3 years to get your money back ) - stay out of the stock market Go to your bank and they will invest it for you - sometimes guarentee your investment back if stock market go down.Then go down the beach and dream of being rich ( which will never happen ).

2. Always do your own research into company - never just take the word of others - good or bad. Once you have done this - if you gain or loose - it is your decision , no one elses.Dont bad mouth someone else.

Bro FZANK - not sure what you base your comments on but never seen any feedback with information other than it is rubbish stock - at least bro Chong gives some information. It is fine if you say it is rubbish but it is a matter of opinion which I respect but you devalue your opinion by these personal attacks (wether founded or not). I will always respect and listen to your views when they are not backed by fague statements.

They have a similar system established in the UK and USA - so worldwide market difficult to get into - but still huge potential.
Even small firms selling tagging system making millions selling tags on a franchise basis in both markets.

Presume when first earnings reported people will see potential and it will fly The technology is good
