This counter in a long term will produce result .Though management strenght is not as good as KLK /IOI and trees may be old ,but replanting is going on and FFB production will increased when the trees start to porduce in 3 years. Invest in stock are good fundamental and consistently giving attrative divident .Even when price is down , you still get some returns
some company for project sana sini , when crisis come all project become rotten and company can go bankrupt

When I started investing many year ago,like you I go through books and analyst report but sad to say many went wrong
the best is still do not buy on news .go for blue chips Companies that has consistent profitability .years back I followed Analyst recommendationd and bought , 8 out of 10 not performing

When markets are on uptrend , all experts tend to be right and you tend to see more experts giving talks ,as if the markets will never come down
Then, it crashed suddenly and all experts gone wrong ,you will not see any talks for a while

Hope MAS so called another business turn-arounds really work this time by the so called experience and capable people .Too many bailouts over the years and yet to see good things .I am not optimistic.maybe if fail again,let people from Airasia do something
