It is obvious that big funds are now buying into big cap plantation stocks as ahbah says young bull mah.Yes KLK output is still on the rise while most are on the decline

Its a foregone conclusion that all plantations would report good profits this coming qrt and perhaps the next 2 too but the question is how good the better managed ones would be outsatnding. We all know that Palm oil is currently at record level but nobody is telling what is the increased in cost in producing it and for the last 3 months most reported lower in production and Taan FFB 71K tonnes in Sept drop to 61K tonnes in Dec Stock price wise it has risen the most in last 3 months a whopping 35% compared to others 10 to 15% for others

If can reach 5.00 within 3 months I sailang lioa can always switch to other plants which have not gone up that much. Actually among the plantations KLK has the best production record in FFB OIL KENNEL for Sept to Dec period. Sept 399515 tonnes and continue to rise to 452048 tonnes while Taan from 72610 to 61854 tonnes. Hope it can arrest the decline !

@Johnzhang I agree with your view but the futures price is a guide for traders and short term players but if the futures price continue to slide for 3 consecutive days it is an indication of the direction of the commodities as far as Taan is concerned it is safe for at least next 9 months

ahbah when I viewed the bursa derivatives at 12.30 yesterday noon most contracts were down some down by RM100 maybe in the late afternoon it has recovered there is no need for me to tell lie. I also hold a substantial amount of Taan in my portfolio but I don't go all out to promote like you do I will tell what I know afterall this is a forum where one can express his own opnion irrespective of whether they are positive or negative paham x

Just give you some hints there were more than 200K units changed hand at 3.72 yesterday. If the stocks bought do not belong to the same syndicate there is a very high chance that the persons who bought it will take profit anything more than 3.83 imagine the amount earned in just one day but if the purchase is done by own people that may be a different story. I tot I was trapped when I went in at 3.76 3 78 luckily today it bounced back to 3 86 hehe

Only Taan looks good but if no dividend declared after reporting good result will lousai also

Don't forget the manipulation by the IBs bcoz of their issuance of the call warrants they may want it up or down depending which suits them better there is no way it will hit RM7.50

The upcoming qtr results should be a good one. If there is a dividend announcement then there would be further upside if not I think not many people want to collect at this price
