Sales go up. Next quarter expected to post good earning too. Long term target price 2.50.

BumI allocation taken at 1.20?? Who told you? Why don't see announcement one?

I roughly calculated fair price should be +- 0.40 - 0.45... but not sure about future prospect of the company... it depends very much on the future earning.. correct me if I am wrong many experts out there..

Ya agree. If the quarterly result is good, we all should get 0.65/0.70 now! No need to bare the looses like now

Hong Leong, CIMB, Kenanga, Apex... if the price shoots up surely restrictions will come followed by more banks.. rough route in front..

normally it will go down slowly and when everyone cannot tahan, it starts shooting down. Sell when you still have chance. You can always buy back when it's really low.

The directors/sharks won't be so silly. If they pull up the share price now: -

1) They will face the risk of designated by Bursa
2) They are giving you a chance to sell high and after taking profit price will still go down

As I mentioned earlier, they have to sacrifice some trees to save the whole forest.

So now investors somehow are at a very embarrassing situation, shoots it up die, it falls also die. So if I am in the game, will take profit and put it the pocket first. Enjoy what you have gain with your family rather than keep on worrying all the days. Also just my 2 cents.

I say this because Bursa is the authority, and being ignorant to authority is commit suicide. And Bursa will do it very fast this time as Wintoni is currently the 1st taiko who leads this wave of penny stocks uptrend, hitting Wintoni with disciplinary action will surely bring the other penny stock counters down. Kill One Warns Hundreds, the saying of Chinese.

In order to keep Wintoni away from Bursa 'designated' action, Wintoni directors and proxy will cool it down for a while, which means price won't shoot up and volume will be kept low. They might be busy now to figure out some "good news" to feed it's investors and shut Bursa up. As for the time being, sorry to say have to sacrifice some small trees in order to save the forest. Just my 2 cents.

The only condition to get Bursa 'designated' rule out of the scene now is the price and volume won't shoot up, but all buyers will definitely want it to go up and up and up... So this is the dilemma of shareholders, company directors, and even sharks. Once designated, we will only see a bunch of sellers waiting for buyers. But for most of the time GREED rules over almost everything, and consequences will eventually follow, always the effect hurts for long time.

I think investors should be very alert of the current situation as Bursa already warn that they will not hesitate to take further action if Wintoni continue to goreng up. If reach 0.40 / 0.50 and designated, then we can expect to see the price back to 0.20 or even 0.10. Investors should taken the risk into consideration.

If Public Broker or other company announce restrictions this afternoon, you will experience another big fall to maybe 0.2 or below, then those who buy now may experience double loss.

Not only you @RapidBeginners you must remember there are hundreds and thousands of aunties and uncles who bought high 0.37 - 0.4+ for the last few days and when they panick, you can't even sell at 0.24!

Now already three brokers set restrictions to Wintoni - CIMB, RHB and Apex. What if Public and other brokers also follow? But after all, it's just a 6 cents counter. It won't change to 1.00 counter just because it earned two million + in the last quarter. Anyway, don't worry you will still have 6 cents, it won't drop below that la.

HARVEST(9342) As Designated Security – Best Way to Kill Off Speculation and Traders, too!


Designated Security, this is a new term to me and I just get to know this “Mass Destructive Weapon”(MDW) 2 days ago when HARVEST(9342) is declared by Bursa as the “Designated Security”. Before sharing what that term means, let me show you how “Mass Destructive” it is by using HARVEST(9342) as an example.


HARVEST(9342) is one of the CRAZIEST penny stock that we have all seen recently, the stock has been trading less then RM0.10 during mid Oct 2011 and because of some “news” the stock has been going up higher and reached RM2.13 in mid Nov 2011 before it been declared by Bursa as “Designated Security”, that’s like 2,000% rise in a month! On 15th Nov 2011 Bursa used its MDW, trading of HARVEST(9342) has been suspended for a day and the next day when it open, a gap down of more then RM0.60 and as of writing today, the share down another RM0.45 and I’m seeing it close at RM1.04. The MDW caused HARVEST(9342) to drop from RM2.13 to RM1.04 in 2 days, that’s like a 50% drop. It not only killed HARVEST share price, but it also killed off speculation on other penny stocks.


As promise, here is the explanation of what the term “Designated Security” mean. This is a quote copied from Bursa,


"trading in the counter continues but will require payment upfront before buying and a free balance of securities before selling"


Let’s break it up a little, for those who want to BUY the share, you would need to have CASH in your brokerage account before you can call up your broker to place an order. In normal case, we can first purchase the share we want, and pay the brokerage firm in T+3 days. What does this mean to buyer? This mean you can’t do contra trade if you don’t have that amount of CASH, even you have that amount of cash and you willing to first deposit the amount of CASH in brokerage firm first before purchase, you still can’t play intraday trade. Why? Check out the selling requirement.


For those who want to BUY, you need cash upfront. For those who want to sell, you needto have the share in your CDS account first before you can sell it! What does that mean? It means you need to hold the share for at least 3 days, because the share that you purchased will be in your CDS account only on T+3 day. This, again, killed off speculation and intraday trade.


“Designated Security” is really a scary thing if you’re a trader that only hold the share for a relatively short amount of time, from a few days to a few weeks. But, if you’re an intraday trader, it won’t hurt you because you never hold anything more then a day, by the time a share is declared as designated security and halt trading for a day, you already have all your position closed. The bad things about intraday trader is, of course, you tends to pay more commission to the brokerage firm because of the frequent entering and exiting the market, but I think that’s a price that worth paying during this extremely volatile market.


Is “Designated Security” a good thing? Yes, when Bursa trying to protect “uninformed” traders/investors from over speculated stock. But it is a bad thing for traders who are aware of the risk and try to profit from the movement. Market should be a free place that allow both traders and investors to co-exist, the action will killed off traders and it will killed off some liquidity. Imagine a market with very little traders but investors, that will be a market with very little liquidity as most investors are HOLDING their shares!

Sorry I am really new here, I apologize if I have said something wrongly (Pls correct me) The volume and price of Wintoni attracts me so I did some readout. This is the only forum that discusses Wintoni so I post my thoughts here. TQ

And I have a questions.. except those who buy in at much lower prices (6 cents, 7 cents), during the recent two weeks rally, how many really picked up all those shares they bought? Or most are playing margin T3 T4... hoping to earn even though without taking out owns money?

I also looked through some of its previous announcements.. it seems that it has a pattern of

1) Loosing money
2) Cashing money from its shareholders
3) Share price up-trend and shoots down (also cashing money I guess)
4) Bosses buying shares of other 'similar' goreng companies and selling their stake to them.
5) Involve with 'companies' in "those islands.." (ie British Virgin Islands etc where government are not allow to check their account..) so I guess it involves 'black money' or money laundry
6) Lots of news, all sorts of news, funny news (not from announcement but this forum)

So, buyers are no way buying fundamentals, but mostly goreng. As the price goes up no body cares but when it goes down, it might drop very sharply.

And the financial report coming, any body can confirm they are making big profit? From what I read from this forum, until now no one can give a confirmation.. so the risk is still there. Can we take it if the result is not as we wish?

Wintoni last updated their news in Year 2009.. they hadn't updated their company news for 5 - 6 years! So is the company still operating as it was? Nobody knows, unless you know someone working in it. Anyone? We can't go check on the company as it is in China..
