Didn't anyone notice the crappy PACC Offshore's 2Q14 results?

Haven't you guys looked at POSH's share price lately?!

.....now, pay attention to MISC and Baltic Dirty Index (BIDY) divergence.

Please pay attention to Green Tea's observation of Maybulk and BDI divergence. Rarely see fair unbiased comments despite vested interest.

Bone....Firstly, Maybulk does not have RM155m net cash - slightly below RM60m only as at end-Mar 2014 (you have not accounted for its borrowings). Secondly, the market value of its 10 dry bulk vessels (of which 4 partially owned) and 3 tankers is only about RM700m and not over RM2bn. Last but not least, Maybulk isn't gonna re-rate on POSH if POSH itself does not re-rate. Also, if investors can buy POSH for its strong growth at less than 10x one-year forward PE, why would people buy Maybulk at 17x?

Correction....>50% is subsidiary, Green Tea.

Blackdove - the amount you saw was already Maybulk's 21% share of POSH....of this amount about 40% was profit from non-recurring items.

Results were terrible....a bulk of the contribution from POSH during the quarter was from vessel disposal gains, which are non-recurring.

WSCAPITAL - FYI, Maybulk doesn't recognise revenue from POSH, only its share of profits from it ...and this was since 2009.

Hmm...that was exactly what people told me when Datasonic was running ahead of Inari earlier this year.

The way Datasonic is tanking, this could be next.

People who think JTIASA's results yesterday were great are delusional. Ta Ann made more money last quarter with only half of the oil palm acreage and it was still bleeding like mad on the timber side.

If the intention is a noble one, ie. a sincere effort to enrich people, then it is fine. But sometimes, I find that there some individuals who use their influence to take advantage of the naivety of the less-informed public for self-serving interests. I feel the JTIASA idea is just one of them...and recently EKOWOOD.

Then we should each all just give him our life savings to manage and expect at least 20% pa return. So we don't have to waste hours of our lives reading bias analysis from self-serving investors.

...and you have already forgotten about the stock plunging from over RM2.50 when you promoted it to RM2.00? Perfect timing means buying at the lowest possible point and selling at the highest possible point...I really think that's not the case here. I think some investors who took share placement are still reeling from losses.
The biggest reason for failure is also attitude.

Sarawak is no Sabah, when it comes to FFB yields....please do more research.

With due respect to Mr Koon, I think he needs to a do a bit more homework on JTIASA. The company has a bad corporate governance reputation and profitability doesn't jive with the operational figures, and analysts in the past have struggled to reconcile the numbers. Institutional investors are largely reserved on these Sarawakian timber-related boys. Think SOP is a better-managed oil palm plantation company.

Almost 700,000t of FFB produced and yet unable to achieve the same profit levels of smaller planters like IJMP and HAPL. Yes, its historical record cannot lie...pathetic historical earnings record.

r°Moi ....so you're saying, if you have a million bucks in the bank, it should only be worth RM400k because RM1m x 4% x 10?
