Good morning...klci...Looking back into the price actions from May 12,2014 on the 5 year chart,the major downleg from 1896-1671 may be the Wave D of extension Major W3,n its length is unusually long due to driven unfavorable news on govt oil revenues.The upleg from 1671 can be classified as Wave E of extension Major W3 n it cud continue to advance further for a retest of previous high 1896 or higher towards 1917(this was my tp when the market rebounded 1760ish).However,being a Wave E,it might fail to achieve new high abv 1896.

Short term outlook:As expected,it tested 1861 yesterday within the W3 from 1794 n shud there be an extension of this upleg,it shudnt go beyond 1872-78 res area.Crucial sup pt for short term is at 1845(clsg) which if breached,wud c a retest of supps 1826/1815 from now.good luck.

Connie...ok got u!normally u can see those waves more clearly after it happened..many times,not ocassionally u cud spot or catch their movements..one example,if klci didn't break 1826,i wud have tot that it shud turn around making wave e happened n even then,r u sure wave e wud survive to start off another upleg afterthat?

Connie...I have read a lot from medias on ew when I juz started ew analysis n I had decided to ignore those abc or abcde waves.Juz make it simple...look at the trend which is yr friend n keep a close watch on the major waves on short med long term charts,stoploss/crucial/tr points.Of course,fundamentals must come first.

good morning....klci...With the new high seen yesterday n a break abv res 1826,the upleg from 1774 IS NOT a wave d upleg n it shud classified as w5 of ssw4 which started from 1671.W5,an upleg,is in progress after completion of w4 at 1774 with 1st res area be tested at 1838/41 within sw3 of W5.Any correction seen from now shud be limited to 1819 on the downside.

Med term outlook:To ascertain that the major downleg,ssw5,has began,it requires a close below 1795 from now.Current W5,a final upleg,shud top out at 1855.As said b4,W5 shud begin after the 2nd week of April,2015.Good luck.

The upleg from 1794(23rd march 2015)is the w5 of wave d,supposed to be the final upleg for retest of res area 1824-26 if 1816-18 res area is overcome.Wave e,a downleg,has to come after completion of wave d.The whole process of ssw4 from 1671 may have to take about 2-3 weeks b4 ssw5,a major downleg,wud be witnessed.Be patient,buy only on pullback within wave e downleg which has a minimum target at 1789 once it begins to unfold from 1816-18 or 1826.good luck.

Good morning...klci...The upleg which runs up from 1774 belongs to the wave d of the flat pattern which began from 1st feb 2015 after it hit 1831 n I believe we wont be seeing it again from now.On the aforesaid wave d,i expect 1816-18 area to hold as resistance n supp at 1789 wud hold for wave e to progress within the 1st half of this week.Above 1789 sup,1796 is the immediate sup n also a pivot pt(clsg) between 1774-1816.My advice on trading strategy for this week...don't chase to buy but instead,take rallies as opportunities to clear or take profits on yr positions.
