the downward spiral has started... Better leave before too late. I think thi stock will plunge soon....

pmetal is a highly geared up company...they will be badly hit is alu price dipped below their marginal returns. All sorts of complication will arise...Breach of lending covenants, margin call, cross default...u name it...a cascade of gearing issues.

maybe not lar...but to continue staying at this level is a bad investment oredi...Time is a factor of returns..Dividend policy may be adjusted downwards due to continue pricing weakness in alu. Better stay on the sideline for now and switch to higher yielding stocks or for those with higher risk appetite, riskier stocks.

time to leave this stock liao...the upside will take some time to crystalise. Not that it will fall like airasia given its strong fundamentals but difficult to kick-start the momentum for it to go up...Having this stock is like watching paint dry...

aiyoh...all this report not going to help lar...kenanga has bought lots of shares oredi... Now pumping up the news to dump the shares to unsuspecting buyers like us...

pmetal is an excellent counter...you need not agree or subscribe to the valuation of the investment houses but read their reports carefully...You can separate facts from assumptions. A biz that is earns 69% more for every dollar of profit vis a vis competitors, to me is an excellent company. Economics 101 - Commodities market operates in a perfect competition market. And yet PMetal can churn out more profits than its competitors....What do you call a company operating in a perfect competition market that earns super normal profit ??...I don't know about you guys but to me, if Pmetal is not an excellent investment opportunity, what is ?

During an upside cycle in the commodities industry, the profit the company can make is only limited by its CAPACITY to produce. Unlike other businesses wherein you need to marketing effort and cost to push your product, competitors who may erode your market share, stock obsolescence, the inherent limit of the market size. etc...

PMetal operates in an industry where if theoretically it can sell unlimited alu ingots, there will be buyers at the market price waiting to take all its alu stocks...Any marketing effort required ?...Any limit to the number of customers ?..Any requirement to go source out customers ?...

PMetal is already earning substantial profits this year and is estimated to do even better next year...Any further increase in profits can be achieved via:

1) Increase in alu market price; and
2) Increase in production capacity.

As in any other investments, there are inherent risk in investing in equities..PMetal is no diff.

Nevertheless PMetal does generate alpha.
