首相拿督斯里纳吉宣布，阿里巴巴创办人马云将于11月3日来马，推介全球首个中国以外的数字自由贸易区（DFTZ）成立的专属平台。
他希望国内的中小型企业能透过这个平台打进中国和全球市场，开拓更大的商机。
他指出，电商已成为现今商业的主要趋势，因此企业家必需随着潮流进军商机无限的网络市场。
政府也建立有效率的运输系统，确保消费者能在最短的时间内，收到网购商品。
马云的创业也是从一个小公寓开始，但他现在已经成为全球最有钱的人之一。
纳吉呼吁年轻一代改变思维，不要局限自己仅仅成为一个受薪的“打工仔”，只有创业才能改变自身的前景。他鼓励年轻人将马云当成一个学习目标。

他今晚出席国立大学举办的大学创业技能和人才（VEST）晚宴上表示，已有将近1500家小型企业决定参与推介礼。

首相拿督斯裏納吉透露，阿裏巴巴集團創辦人兼董事局主席馬雲将于10月再度訪馬，而兩人将進行推介首批1500家中小型企業，加入數碼自由貿易區（DFTZ）計劃的儀式。
納吉也提醒，各界需把握科技發展所帶來的經濟機會，尤其是利用科技設備來提升商業生産力，而由于外交政策取得不錯成績，因此今年進入我國的外來直接投資有顯著的增加，其中主要投資是來自中國、沙地阿拉伯及印度。
他指出，國内經濟也捎來數項好消息，如今年首季外來直接投資額高達170億令吉、首季經濟成長達5.6%、三月出口額逾800億令吉等，該些消息都顯示大馬經濟發展正邁向正軌。
