The most actively traded stock, MyEG saw a strong rebound of 24 sen to RM1.37 in morning trade. The buying interest came after the company announced that it had received confirmation from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission that was not linked to the corruption charges against former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Abdul Zahid Hamidi.

Datasonic, which had been linked to the same investigation and suffered a steep decline last Friday, lost a further 1.5 sen to 47 sen.

MYEG stock took a hit today, down more than 20% after a graft charges link to ex-DPM.

MYEG is a well-run company with net profit margin over 50% (more than the like of Facebook, Apple, Google etc). The company main businesses is provide Government e-services.

MYEG inherit a very strong moat, and the barrier of entry is very very high. Despite the recent pullback, the company is still very profitable.

The challenges of the company is to find venue for growth in the future, despite having plans to expand to other countries, there is still no concrete development on those expansion.

The DCF valuation reflect a stunted growth valuation toward the foreseeable future. Any new development on future expansion will greatly alter the premises of this DCF.
