Mr. Ong Tee Kein was appointed to the Board on 13 January 2010 as an independent director and was re-designated as Executive Director on 15 April 2010. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee.

He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also holds a MBA degree from the University of Miami.
He has several years of experience in industry and consultancy practice.After qualifying as an accountant in the United Kingdom, he joined a management consultancy practice specializing in providing advisory services to governments and international funding agencies.He subsequently joined the corporate advisory division of an international accounting rm and was involved with various corporate restructuring exercises.

He is currently a director in Sanichi Technology Berhad, DGB Asia Berhad and Asia Bioenergy Technologies Berhad. He is also a director of several private limited companies.

A dividend is a cash payment from a company's earnings; it is announced by a company's board of directors and distributed among stockholders.

In other words, dividends are an investor's share of a company's profits, given to him or her as a part-owner of the company. Aside from option strategies, dividends are the only way for investors to profit from ownership of stock without eliminating their stake in the company.

Or in other words, dividends are gesture from the company to the shareholders/ investors for being loyal for capital contribution.

Just wonder why there is no dividend distribution eventhough P&L is positive. Anybody can share some background?
