When Iris was 22 cts private placement to Felda was 28 cts though Felda insist 40% equity @ 40 cts ; the board of management afraid liquidity in the market disagreed with the proposal. After private placement Iris move upwards within weeks to a level of 40 cts and Felda increase to 26 % shareholder and reach 60 cts level. With new private placement of 10 % appx . 197 million , Felda being multi billion market capitalisation can easily afford to bid and hold appx. 36- 39 % soon in next AGM. Bear in mind the right hand capable to award the left hand projects tendered is definitely certain .Another additional 10% private placement Iris need not require borrowing to proceed the projects awarded and does not require capital injection by means of restructure exercise. Recent EGM shareholders agreed expenditure up to RM 500 million a year to carry on the projects award without necessary referring to shareholders approval. The amount to carry out the awards is insufficient but with proper management it will turn out effectively.
