The acquisition is inclusive of all the properties, right?

SMRT not just benefits from the existing courses (or rather business) offered by MEGB, but more importantly, jump start its reach nationwide! Ready building, ready manpower, infra setup, etc to operate its medical courses immediately!!

Thats why i say Brahmal Vasudevan is so clever! Genius is restructuring both entities!

take a glance at MEGB's financial report... MEGB's financial is improving after the management scale back its operation. MEGB slide into red due to management too aggressive in expansion plan. with the operational scale back and selling of assets, business should turnaround.

MEGB's existing campuses should help SMRT in its expansion to reach more states... if SMRT use MEGB's existing infra for it's medical course, it will definitely be a good acquisition, saving time and money to setup campuses

I read the acquisition as more to MEGB's infra and building than to it's business... which is still good investment and also to gain some from MEGB's existing business...

Sona paying Salamander in ca$h! With stronger balance sheet, Salamander can demand better offer from Ophir. Remember, Ophir needs money

Guys, anyone think of the possibility that Salamander could still sell 40% Baulang share to Sona & accept the merger or take over from Ophir? It is possible. Ophir didnt say it object to the Sona deal. Ophir needs money from Salamander & cash generated from Salamander assets.

So, still possible the Sona deal could go thru before Ophir merger deal

Have to depend on momentum stock to gain back opportunity cost for holding Sona & Reach.

just sharing.... besides worrying about SC approval, need to pay some attention to development over at Salamander as their approval is equally crucial for the deal to go thru

bornoil is sitting on a big pile of cash after par value deduction, and now more warrant converted.... what's it up to with so much cash???

this one looks promising....

The s&p is conditional & non binding... subject to approval from relevent authority, subject to approval from sona shareholder, AND approval from Salamander Shareholder.......

Dont be so naive that the final S&P is signed...

Now, we just hope SC Approval, Sona EGM approval AND Salamander EGM approval

Else, most my money will stuck in this counter for long time until it up

2) Sona EGM
3) Salamander EGM

Even if SC approved and Sona EGM approved, still have risk of rejection from Salamander EGM if rival offers by Ophir or Jho Low is better and salamander decide to go for the other offer. Or maybe Ophir may accumulated enough Salamander shares to block the approval during Salamander EGM??.....

every investment has risk... just have to understand and do your own risk calculation...

I stuck a lot on Sona too.... Pls keep cool.... Insider news is helpful, but may not be 100% accurate or on right timing... furthermore, this deal also depends on external parties like Salamander EGM...
