just to be clearer, we use another system to trade "long" & "short". ask your remisier for more info.

can you use the same system to go "short"? better clarify and confirm before you "buy high sell low".

some of them here could be trading "futures", it's same as what you are doing (buying shares) but they can choose to go "long" (when shares are on up trend) or "short" (when it's on down trend), you can make $ both ways but this is a different game and risk all together.

so some of you are right in theory if someone ask you to buy or sell, possibly they are going the other way at the same time.

i just want to share and learn together, when you are reading the signals, everything can change directions (this is very important point), so always compare all your data before you make crucial decision.

example, if you read the MACD and it seems to be giving a buy signal, but it could be a sell signal if you look a the stochastic or if 1-day chart says it's buy but if you look at 7-day chart it's sell.

the buy signal is not here yet, if you are looking at the chart, basically there are 1-day, 7-day & 31-day charts etc.. don't just look at one and assume the buy signal is there, sometimes it can be a false flag. at the moment it's safer to go short because it's blowing south wind. as mentioned earlier the wind could but will not suddenly change direction without any reason. it will hit 0.40 soon and it's possible to break 0.40 based on the trend.

they are holding too many shares, to avoid from causing unnecessary sudden panic selling, one way is for them to sell slowly so if you noticed the gradual downtrend with reasonable supporting at certain levels

just to share my personal view for those who are still new, not sure what they are doing and trading based on hearsays:

regardless whether sumatec is good/bad, profitable/loss making, with or without halim etc.

1. overall technical indicators still on downtrend (there will be up & down because of some contra players and there will always be buyers/sellers at all price level).
2. there is no buy signal yet.
3. volume has been low since 27/08, no huge drop expected now but there might be one coming soon before a technical correction.
4. some fund managers may not hold or enter new position when there is a long break, major announcement (regional/global), when there are sensitive conflicts (wars) etc especially after past financial breakdowns.

if you are small fish and only taking small volume, you wont make much and risk is too high, not logical to play contra or keep as investment. Unless your mindset is to buy high & sell low which means you intend to make loss.

other than promises/news/announcements/predictions, any facts/data to support claims why Sumatec will move up or down tomorrow?
