My sources of information are from insiders from the company itself. Widad shares fell because some people from mindef wanted widad shares to be cheaper to buy starting early this year. After the tender to supply national defense equipment was given to widad after the 2025 budget was approved in parliament. So, widad's stock will go up, at the same time benefiting the proxies giving tenders or government contracts. Tan Sri Syed Azman is getting older, he wants ikmal opat to continue his legacy in the acquisition of national defense assets and cancel the listing of weststar group on the main stock market. This is no longer a secret among the BOD between Widad and Westar group.
