I wish TF had earlier only indicated a figure of RM700m. Then everybody would now be overexcited about RM900m. What is wrong that in the process of negotiation, the price was higher or lower that as originally proposed. TF would have wanted a higher price if he had his way. But this is business. You have to give and take until you come to a final agreement of the price.

If AAC is valued at RM900m, it is a fantastic deal for AA. What else you investor want.?

I think so. If you keep invested in AA and see your money shrinking, it is better to get out than to wait in vain.

In another words,if Tony comes out to say 2017 is going to be a record year for AA, many will ask : So what? It means nothing to the share price, or may be set the stage for another round of downward spiral.

It is a matter of confidence. When the price of AA goes down after the good result, it is natural for average investors to feel disappointed. It is hard to blame investors for losing patience. What is the point of buying a good stock when it makes you lose money. That is where confidence is shaken.

everyday stale news about AAc sale, dual listing etc. a lot of hot air but it is not helping the stock price at all. giving the average investors false hopes day after day and weeks after week.

for the average investors. the question in their mind is : the CEO should not just talks about AirAsia doing so well, show it with dividends.

Frankly, many people are gradually beginning to lose hope in AirAsia. Cannot blame them.

AirAsia good P & L but no dividend, that is why cannot move, Look at Maybank and CIMB, good P & L and good dividend. Both Maybank and CIMB are moving ahead. Dividend stocks (Maybank/CIMB) versus NO-dividend stock(Airasia).

For that grim prospect, TS has been beaten down to 0.65 before. for now, no further bad news means good news. That is the way forward. And that explains for the price surge last friday. Example; a company that makes a 10 million loss last qtr is in better shape now if it makes say 300000 loss this qtr. this is law of relativity.

The major shareholders are more concerned than any of us. Remember that. They know and do what is best for the company.

Stop ptoduction in loss making sector is better than comtinue bleeding. this bad news is already discounted. Otherwise, ts won't be trading at 0.80. It will be trading at 1.40.

If making good profit why sell

If the intepretation is so simple, there won't be a surge in volume and price on friday. For those who are always looking for bad news desoite the announcement, just avoid TS. There are hundreds of other counters in bursa to choose from.

Those people who bought on LAST FRIDAY can't be ALL silly people.

it may be making lesser profit. So what. It is already only half of its 52 week high of 1.40. Two weeks from now, if it recovers to,say, 0.90, many will say : aiya, should have bought at 0.77. And if it does not go up, you have nothing to lose(you bought cheap).

That is the way to look at ts. It is investing with calculated risk.

Ts is now only 0.77 compared to its high of 1.40. This is value for money. Even if ts pays lesser bividend, not much it can fall. It may not be undervalued, neither is it overvalued. But if the qr is reasonable and investors are convinced of its resilience, the value should recover. In another words, the upside bias is more than the downside risk

when TS starts moving, there will be all kinds of positive comments. When TS profit take 1 sen, many will start calling for 'sell'.... with comments like 'wait to buy back at 65 sen lah'....'QR big loss lah'....'better to run lah'....

when the selling is over, the trend will turn the other way....up

this is a China man company. it is not FELDA GLOBAL VENTURE. there will be profit.it is only a matter of making more or making less. the price has already fallen from the 52 week high of 1.40. even if the company is making lesser profit, this is already reflected in the price (almost half of 1.40). the downside is limited. this is the type of company for you to hold for surprise and substantial upside when the time comes. otherwise. just buy maybank, cimb, tenaga etc for your FD-like dividends. Safer still, put your money in the bank. in short, seize the opportunity to invest when the opportunity arises. don"t be fickle minded. believe in yourself. my last word of encouragement to you: you are not buying at 1.40, you are buying at almost half of 1.40. yes. many people are selling. BUT, many people are buying TOO!
