IITS, together with many other local and international companies, participated in an open tender process that started with the issuance of a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) by KDN on 23 May 2019.



Pursuant to the RFP, IITS submitted its proposal on 19 August 2019. Thereafter on 16 January 2020, IITS was invited to participate in the actual tender for the Project. IITS submitted its tender proposal to KDN on 4 March 2020. The Board understands that more than twenty companies participated in the tender.

Since even world class guru predictions are nowhere near 100% accurate, it is pointless to ask anybody here what will happen to IRIS tomorrow.

IMHO the correct question would be, How long can you hold? If it's beyond T3, then hold and see whether the uptrend will continue. Or if you can't hold, then too bad, do what you have to do.

Naysayers talk like they know everything about market movements. Before you want to believe them, just remember one thing... none of them correctly predicted that IRIS won the race and gets NIIS contract.

Yup... clear case of misinterpretation. In their KLSE announcement, MESTRON clearly said that they are currently finalizing the terms of collaboration with Zhongyu in 30 days time. Only after that, will they submit application to NPRA for approval of vaccine distribution in Malaysia.

But why do they want to venture into vaccine now when market are already very wary about vaccine rally...

On the contrary, since mininstry budget has been approved by parliament last year, now is the best time to deliver, install, testing and commissioning of the new system due to low number of passangers/users depending on the immediate use of it. And especially at the airports, possible traffic flow disruptions will be minimal as compared to implementation done during peak season.

NPRA aldy approved Pfizer vaccine for Malaysia use and scheduled to arrive next month. That is a very good catalyst for government to roll out 2021 projects.
