Genting Sing, 32% up over 6 months v Genting B 9.2%! Let’s hope the gap is narrowed quickly!

Let’s be honest even 5.37 is on the low side given that the worst is over yes, there are inflationary issues but I personally don’t believe it hits this market in any case it is less of an issue in Gentings major markets. However, there I’ll be profit takers which means any correction there is an buying opportunity. I want to see past 5 first before CNY and before results in February.

Small holders and perhaps major shareholder starts to dump? This is a problem when one party holds big block …..we saw it US withTesla! Jsut have to buy on correction as we know price has be well north if 5 Rm!

As I have stated before Malaysia market has unique features particularly retail investors are happy to sell and take small profits to subside their lunch / dinner….

About time Genting moves up, other global recovery stocks have been progressing well. Genting, locally suffers from EPF and other institutions not investing…..on flip side when it moves it will be due fundamental change in prospects …

Some silly comments…..Gamuda is a leading construction company without doubt…much is expected in the next few years. Wait and see!

Very very promising TauRX …..2023 is the year when it gets regulatory approval. Approval is sought in many markets and chances are high that it will be available soon. As as we hear about the first approval, and inside information suggests that this could be early 2023, the price of Genting will be rerated. The value of Genting investment is not based on market value. There will be significant rerating. In addition to this sale of property in Miami will also book in significant gains ….so 2023 will definitely be the year when share price breaks away! Market will hopefully move ahead of actual events.

Needs should be at least 2.75 in my reckoning. Let’s see

Price will go down in line with special dividend payment, but the price will pick as we head to 1 Qtr 2023, as Gamuda will announce further contract wins and there is much to grab in the local market as far as contracts are concerned. I

On reflection the results are positive…given the hit the sector has taken and no doubt the indicators are positive. It is matter of one’s expectation …..at current rate of improvement 3rd qtr should will show move to black with full year confirming the change in trend. Share price will be rerated.

Malaysia judicial system can be proud of itself….li can quote many countries where the judicial system is corrupt and not worthy….including countries often assumed to have a robust system like U.K. As to other Asian countries …Malaysia by this verdict stands out. Pakistan for example has been ruled by corrupt familes of Nawaz sharif and Zardari and have court convictions but SC has not been able and willing to pass justice for the people

By the way lowest bidder does not guarantee that you get the contract. There are more things to it. Gamuda no doubt are very experienced and have significant experience. My only concern is that whether they have E the resources given that that they have been very successful in winning contracts. Lets keep fingers crossed…should know soon.

Good set of 3rd QTR results…..slightly better than expectations. Recovery post covid is well established.

Also the US Institution plays games with simple lot and make lot of money in the process….let me tell you all US is where the correction starts and ends others just follow. US has the ability to print money and has the US dollar tool it never looses…just the fools who follow it and make few pence. Have you watched the bounce in Ali BAba ? One minute it is rubbish stock and next week it is brilliant …..It is game played by the rich boys and fools on the other side like here believe in it. Genting not performing is due to nature of investors here without EPF investment most shares don’t do anything we have many who sell on small gains …..look at US real retail and institutional investors….Penn US gambling stock is performing where as Genting who has operations there is lost in all the speculation ..confused investors one minute it is TauRX then it something else …..still patience is needed but can’t see consistent upward unless we get it listed in US?

Income guy is probably without income…negative baseless crap he talks is not what an investor forum is about. The fact is Genting is a recovery stock in a market that is bearish. The worst is over for Genting and add to this TauRX potential then we have a possibility of major uplift in the medium term with low probability of price going lower!

After distribution the share price will adjust by the amount distributed, however after it should being in to go up as Gamuda wins new contracts which will replace the revenue lost from sale of concession. The revenues from concession were fixed so in principle taking into account inflation it is better to sell a fixed fee business and use the monies to invest in winning other projects.
