This counter...I can't make money, s3upid i know lol. When it broke below 76.5c I ran without hesitation and swapped all to Ekovest. Had I held back, this one did better than Ekovest. Even then I knew it was wrong to sell, but couldn't overcome the fear on valuations for this counter

Market often reacts before announcement. Recent clear examples, YTL, even UEMS, even Ekovest. AQRS however, really shows no insider movements i.e. it shows no indication AQRS will be getting anything soon at all.

However, market cap is so small, small volume can spike the share price. Really hard to tell, and really a small cap counter. Who was buying it so heavily from 37-40? I was able to constantly sell at 38-39 for days at that time. Later on I would easily buy back at 36 and resell at 38. What's the operator doing? No idea. After the crash, there was a day they keep taking up everything at 35, before pushing it down to 32.5. Becauuse it's small cap the margin is there, what's their game plan?

Another is Temasek station reinstatement. This was AQRS's job which was slashed. It's odd not to give it back to AQRS. But if AQRS doesn't get it, it really shows that AQRS is quite weak already

Anwar is shouting at Sabah to expedite Pan Borneo works. To what extent they can implement remains to be seen. This is one of the most visible catalyst to rerate. AQRS-Suria Cap JV still on? Unknown. JV better, Suria is local, Sabah is very protective of locals. Anwar wants transparent tender - this is definitely good for AQRS. There are not that many contractors who has the big infra track record. AQRS's chances ok. AQRS's pre-cast fab plant JV w Sabah Econ Board. IF these 2 parts don't give AQRS...well it remains a fair chance they don't get it - last round they got nothing. Hopefully Anwar effect means Sabah can prioritise transparency and fair tender over cronyism

1) I look at it this way...below 0.500 I will exercise it for around 2.80. I am ok with 2.80 for Yinson. Just have to make sure got enough money to exercise since as it goes down I may buy up millions and then the exercise cost will run into tens of millions lol

2) Yinson is low dividend yield this is good for warrants

3) Yinson warrants is fairly liquid

4) A counter like Yinson should not ordinarily have warrants. Blue chip counter with this type of warrants is rare.

So I think, warrants > mother share, especially now

We must remember warrants premium increase as mother share falls, and usually narrows as mother share rises. So we can't value warrants based on a fixed premium

This thing has been bugging me too. Why KLSE performs so poorly. The weak ringgit makes it the more appealing to USD investors at this stage. For a moment, we saw some light. There was a property and construction run, there were privatisations, BPlant, UMW. Market was moving in the right direction for a while. Meanwhile Anwar is shouting sky high figures he secured going on world tour. So, where are the foreign investors. How does Anwar intend to implement execute the local projects?

If Anwar disappoints, sigh. There'll come a time even the last of us stop hoping and move everything to overseas investments, it's just a click away barring capital outflows rules...but if the last of us do leave, that will be the time the market comes roaring back lol

When it falls, I also think mostttt retailers won't dare to hold. And without foreign funds it doesnt go up like that. So what's the game here

LKH tried and failed many times to monetise his IWH etc over the years. I think he has finally come to terms with it and now he is choosing to do it via Ekovest. Old man already can't wait too long. For him to be willing he will want absolute control over Ekovest before more, which is the 51% he is targeting. Then he will do what's needed, not before

For LKH to have a successful consolidation of his shareholdings in Ekovest, there's no incentive for it to move to 60c now. As I've said it looks better when LKH is selling his other assets into Ekovest and paying w Ekovest shares at 60c when Ekovest is below 60c. After that however Ekovest is worth punting on, it is a liquid counter and will react to any news of Duke 1&2 monetisation

The moment it broke below 72 cents there's not much down there. It was scary yesterday. Today it is ongoing. It will be surprising if they don't short it down to 61 cents

So lucky we lost less in AQRS, or it's only a matter of time AQRS falls like the rest 😶

Market leaders being bombed, sector showing deep red. On a 2 months basis AQRS is outperforming the likes of UEMS Ekovest WCT by about 7-8%...KSL is making good money and down 6%

It is nonetheless progressing beautifully, even if it only holds here for the next 2 months. Then the trading range would have firmly changed and this 32-33c range is the new bottom w strong support. I think it takes bad news - counter specific or sector wise to bring it down to sub-30 again. And I think the downside risk is low very low. Numerous catalyst for AQRS, if we hit just half of those objectives 40c should be the new range.

In this particular case, it probably means...nothing. It shows a lack in trading interest, sellers not willing to sell buyers not willing to buy (got scared after being flushed so many times). It looks like we have a smallish operator here. Squeezing every penny before they goreng
