well, I already expected its result was not going to be that good. Every company has fixed cost to pay whether business is good or bad. Besides, we should focus on its future earnings.

According to the analyst report above. their Semiconductor Material Business Unit (SMBU) recorded capacity utilization of 40%-60% in 2QFY23 for the solder ball plant in Tainan, Taiwan and is projected to hit 80% utilization in 3QFY23. Management also mentions that the worst is over. Lots of good things mentioned in the analyst report that gives me confidence that their future earnings (next QR and beyond) is likely to improve

Its quarterly revenue only down 10.18%. I thought its net profit would be down 50% like the previous QR. I only expected dividend of 1 sen, at best.

For Q4, I expect EPS to be between 2 sen and 6 sen. I assume the following:
- there is still provision item in Wessex (index-link bond that I do not understand)
- Jordan plant to contribute to revenue but not profit due to start up cost

I just finish doing research on DSS. Looks like it is going to expand its capacity. The just announced quarter result is supposed to be profitable if excluding one time listing expenses. I would say at current price of 40.5 sen, the reward is much higher than the risk. Good luck!

Why would they be interested in 97,400 ha of land bank? Why they need so much land? Well, it makes sense to me now. The pie is THAT huge.

I am surprised to learn something related to renewable energy:

shocking QR. No wonder huge sell off last Friday. It does not tell the prospect of next QR. It traded around P/E 30 this morning. If investors also give P/E 30 after QR, its share price will trade around RM2.30

When good QR is reported, people start notice. When the company reports an exceptional QR, the hot money keep coming in. Some people expect the latest QR as the new normal. Expectation is high. Unfortunately the next QR is back to normal. Investors lose money.

PowerSeraya reported result that was beyond our wildest dream. My biggest question is whether its result can be sustained in the next QR. I read 2 analyst reports above and noticed that the analyst did not project similar EPS for next QR. I will not buy more before the next QR
