Dato' Jorgen Bornhoft was the Chief Executive Officer of Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad from April 1991 and was the Managing Director from October 1995. In January 2003, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Carlsberg Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore until 30 June 2004. Prior to his appointment to Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad, he was Vice-President in Carlsberg International A/S, Denmark, responsible for foreign subsidiaries and new projects.
