Dato' Jorgen Bornhoft joined the Board on 18 May 2006. Dato' Jorgen had previously held the positions of Chief Executive, Managing Director and Executive Chairman in Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad ("CBMB") before resigning as the Non-Executive Chairman in June 2005. He subsequently re-joined CBMB as a Board Member in April 2006. Prior to joining CBMB, Dato' Jorgen was the Vice-President of Carlsberg International A/S, Denmark, responsible for foreign subsidiaries and new projects as well as licence agreements in Asia. He had also held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Carlsberg Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore.
