Working Experience
Dato' Adnan started his career as an Assistant Secretary of the Secretary General with the Ministry of Education. He served in the Public Services Commission, Prime Minister's Department, Ministry of Defence, Selangor State Government and Terengganu State Government from 1969 to 1981. In 1981, Dato' was attached with the Ministry of National & Rural Development as a Deputy Secretary General before joining Mara Holdings Sdn Bhd as the Managing Director in 1985. Dato' was the Chairman of Malaysia Co-operative Insurance Society Limited and MCIS Insurance Bhd from 1998 to 2000.
